In short: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is an ordinary link to a retailer with a tracking code attached. The code tells the retailer that you arrived from this site. If you then make a purchase, the retailer may share a small part of the sale with us. You pay the same price either way.
What this does and does not change
- It does not change the price you pay.
- It does not decide what goes on a list. Gifts are chosen first; links are added afterwards.
- Nobody can pay to be included in a guide or to be ranked higher.
Our selection method is described in how we choose gifts.
Where links lead
Links go to large online retailers and marketplaces, either directly or through the affiliate networks that manage these programs on their behalf. A button marked “Check price” opens the retailer in a new tab.
Prices and availability
Prices and stock change constantly. Anything we say about price is a general range at the time of writing. The price shown on the retailer’s own page at the moment you buy is the one that applies.
