I only had to buy a new one because I lost my old one that I owned for years.
Absolutely can’t fault the mug. Keeps things cold/hot for hours and hours. Has never leaked. Easy to clean. Only thing to be mindful of is ensuring the rubber seal is sitting flat if you’ve taken it out to clean. But that is not an issue at all. I highly highly recommend this mug.

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
If you’re in search of a travel mug that combines style, functionality, and reliability, look no further than the Contigo brand. I recently acquired one of their travel mugs, and it has quickly become an indispensable part of my daily routine. Here’s why I am so impressed:
Sleek Design & Aesthetics: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
The Contigo travel mug boasts a sleek and modern design that not only looks great but also feels comfortable to hold. It fits effortlessly into car cup holders and the contours of your hand, making it a breeze to carry around. While the focus is on functionality, a bit more flair in the design department could elevate its aesthetic appeal.
Temperature Retention: ★★★★★ (5/5)
One of the standout features of this travel mug is its exceptional ability to maintain the temperature of your beverages. Whether you’re savoring a piping hot coffee or enjoying an ice-cold drink, the Contigo mug keeps it at the desired temperature for hours. I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find my coffee still hot even after a long commute or a few hours at my desk.
Spill-Proof & Leak-Proof: ★★★★★ (5/5)
Contigo’s patented AUTOSEAL technology is a game-changer when it comes to preventing spills and leaks. The mug’s lid seals automatically between sips, ensuring that not a drop of liquid escapes. This feature has saved me from countless potential disasters during hectic mornings or bumpy rides.
Ease of Cleaning: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
While the majority of the travel mug is easy to clean, the lid can be a bit tricky to disassemble for thorough cleaning. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does require some extra effort to ensure all parts are properly sanitized.
Durability: ★★★★★ (5/5)
The Contigo travel mug feels built to last. It’s constructed from sturdy materials that can withstand daily wear and tear. I’ve accidentally dropped it a few times, and I’m happy to report that it still functions perfectly without any noticeable damage.
Overall Value: ★★★★★ (5/5)
When it comes to value for money, the Contigo travel mug truly shines. It’s competitively priced, especially when you consider its outstanding temperature retention, spill-proof design, and durability. This mug is an investment in convenience, quality, and a more eco-friendly lifestyle (no more disposable cups!).
In summary, the Contigo brand travel mug has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and reliability. It’s the perfect companion for those who are always on the move, whether you’re commuting to work, going on a road trip, or just need a reliable way to keep your beverages at the right temperature. Despite a minor cleaning inconvenience, it’s a travel mug I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in need of a dependable, spill-proof, and stylish on-the-go beverage solution.

I love this cup! The lid is perfect for me that easily opens and snaps shut without any covers or caps to be in the way. I also really like the small reservoir for sipping/slurping hot liquids, rather than coming out a tiny hole directly to your lips and burn. I does keep hot coffee hot for an hour and warm for several more. It’s even more impressive with cold. I use it to carry five large ice cubes in the morning to use 2-3 hours later. When I open it, there is no liquid, only the solid ice cubes! My only minor criticism: after using it for weeks with never a single drip leaked, I had a big mess when I took it on an airplane and it managed to open or otherwise leak, and I had a soaked backpack that ruined my iPad. :/ So my advice, don’t fly with it!

I got the midnight berry color. I have used this brand and model of cup for years. This is my third one in like 7 years. My second 24oz. The newer ones have grip issues. I bought my bf one 2 years ago and the grip is loose. We had to get him another because he dropped the seal and it was never to be found again so it leaked, and that grip was also loose. This one that I ordered, again the grip is loose. It twists and actually will slide up with minimal effort when bottle is dry, and even more so when its wet. My old ones didnt do this, but the newer model does. I have included a photo showing that it slides. I have carpal tunnel so its not like I strong armed it. Aside from that, its not nearly as sparkly as the image suggests. Which i was sad about but im more about the function. I LOVE it because it stays cold forever. I fill it halfway with ice, and still have a small chunk of ice left after 10 hours if im drinking out of it, and if I leave it closed and untouched overnight( I take it to bed with me so I have cold water at night) it has most of its ice by morning. I typically sleep 9-10 hours for reference. The lid is pretty easy to over screw and gets really tight. My old one started leaking after like 4 or 5 years. Thats why I got the new one. Its pretty durable. I dropped this baby on concrete from 12ft high. It got rather dented on the bottom and I just took a hammer to it to flatten it back out. My lid dented near the mouth piece. But I probably dropped it on concrete at work over 60 times. It scratched, it dented but still worked just fine for years. I have rather small hands but it seems yo be fine to hold, even if I do have carpal tunnel. I dont use it for anything hot so I cant vouch on that topic. I hand wash the lid daily and the cup itself weekly. The little rubber seal in the lid can be a bit of a pain to pull out, but you can GENTLY get it out with a toothpick and some patience. Its very important to throughly wash and dry that little rubber seal. You can get sick if you dont. OK, review over.

I didn’t want to spend the exorbitant price that comes with some certain brand names. They are amazing! When I make coffee at 7am and take the first sip at 8am after arriving at the office the coffee is still extremely hot. It stays hot for a good four hours and then very warm for another three hours. The spill proof top lids are awesome. If I shut the lid and turn the thermos upside down above my computer, I know it will not spill a single drop. These were so good that I bought another two pack. I am throwing the rest of my thermoses out. I highly recommend them!!!

Works well for my daily walking-to-work coffee

Zero leakage, and keeps my coffee hot or water cool all day long until the next refill. It is easy to clean, and doesn’t retain any odors from different drinks. Some complain about the flip-up lock, but I found it not to be an issue. Materials and build quality are what I expect from Contigo. I recently took it on a business trip, and it fit well into my carry-on bag with zero spills (forgot to take it out before placing my bag in the overheard compartment). Plenty of colors to choose from so you won’t get it confused with another item.

These are my 3rd and 4th contigo travel mugs.
The first one I left at a road side stop accidentally.
The second one I dropped one too many times, I guess, and it no longer held the heat.
But I got many years out of both of those.
These mugs work almost too well. If you put very hot liquids in there, you might need to leave the cap off for a bit just to be able to drink it. They definitely hold the heat in for many hours. The shape is perfect to fit in every cup colder. They are absolutely leak proof.
