Great basketball—classic orange, bouncy, feels like the official ball of me missing layups in my driveway. At first, I thought they scammed me because I couldn’t find the pump needle anywhere. I turned my house upside down, interrogated the dog, and considered fashioning one out of a paperclip. Then I noticed the giant sticker on the ball that literally said ‘remove sticker for needle.’
Sure enough, there it was—right where it said it would be. Ball inflates, ball bounces, life lesson learned: sometimes the instructions aren’t lying. Five stars, would recommend—though maybe also recommend reading.

We got a basketball hoop for the kids, but they couldn’t get the adult full sized balls up to there! This youth sized ball is great. It’s not tiny, so they still get the experience of bouncing and shooting a real ball, but it’s better sized for their hands and shooting ability.

I was expecting the ball to be packaged in Wilson official packaging but I received it in just an Amazon box with some paper padding. Luckily it wasn’t a present for someone but thought it was worth reviewing in case another purchaser was intending to buy it for someone. I pumped it up to 8.5 psi and have used the ball on concrete, good bounce, well made, good grip but some black paint has chipped away from the lines after first use. It’s been a few weeks and the ball has retained its air pressure. This is marketed as an outdoor ball for those who haven’t checked. Also unsure how long the nobbly grip will last until worn down. All in all a good purchase and have had plenty of fun using it.
