Part worked great in my Whirlpool fridge. Easy to install, easy to program. Saved us about 2500 bucks.

I used it on a MAYTAG MFi2569VEM4. It worked great. The only thing I would suggest is Googling the programming instructions. The instructions are missing a step. They are not very clear. Otherwise, this board works great. Time will tell on the reliability

Like many others, my Maytag fridge just up and died one day. The fridge was about five years old and never gave me a problem. There were no warning signs or anything. Just one Sunday evening, the whole front panel where you control temperature and get ice and water was dead. This of course meant it wasn’t cooling at all, even though the power was still working (light came on). A quick search said the main board was the problem.
I took a risk and I’m glad I did! Local repair shops couldn’t get the part for at least a week and who knows what they would have charged. This board came in about 36 hours after I ordered. It took me maybe 15 minutes to pull the old board and hook in the new one. Programming was a small pain as it didn’t want to take the code at first, but once it did, everything fired back up and in about 24-48 hours, everything was cooled down and working as it should. It has been over a week since I installed the board and it is still running. I lost some food, but it gave me an excuse to clean everything, so silver lining. And $200 is way better than buying a new fridge (and who knows how long it would take to get one, given how messed up the supply chains still are). If your fridge has power and the front panel is either dead or glitched out, this may be the part for you, and it has to be among one of the easiest DIY fixes ever.

Product arrived as promised. Cheaper than many others out there. My fridge is a Maytag model #MFI2569YEM0. My fridge has been acting weird, the front controls were turning off and on. When pressing the ice button it would just stop. Finally fridge kept starting and then stopping when trying to run. I noticed the front display stopped working almost all together. Turns out this is a common problem with these and it is the main control panel in the back of the fridge. I ordered this one and got it installed and everything working in about 10 minutes after receiving the new board. I had to program it after installing it, they sent directions to help with the programming. I didn’t need to pay a core charge, and locally this board was almost $300. I would recommend and am happy with purchase.

Frig wasn’t working. Lights came on at first on front panel but then went out. Checked out info on youtube and different ones mentioned the main control board. Thought we’d try doing that instead of a huge repair bill or having to buy another frig. Received the panel fast. Popped it in and tried setting up the code. Instructions weren’t any good for our frig. Couldn’t figure out how to get code on. Went to youtube again and found good instructions on how to get the code on and get it running. It’s working great! Cheap fix!

It Works, this saved me over $1000 on a new fridge. The install was pretty straight forward for a motherboard and after changing it out everything functioned properly. It lasted the 2 years in the house up untill we moved out. I have no doubt it will last at least another 8. Perfect fit.

I couldn’t get this control board to work until I finally found a helpful YouTube video that tweaked the included instructions ever so slightly. After installing the control board, plug in the fridge AND WAIT 5 MINUTES to give the board time to energize. This wait time was the difference maker. Next step is also slightly different for programming the buttons. Press and hold the Door Alarm Keypad button. Within 3 seconds, Press and hold the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad button. Release the Door Alarm button only. Continue holding the Freezer Temp button until the decimal point appears. You cannot program until the decimal point appears. If you there is no decimal point, start all over. Unplug fridge. WAIT 5 MINUTES, drink a glass of wine, and continue with steps. Good Luck.

I have a Whirlpool that’s somewhere between 10-12 years old. When it stopped working I ordered a new refrigerator, while waiting for the new refrigerator to arrive (three week lead time) I decided to order this part. This board is great, the next day the old refrigerator was up and running as good as new. Which makes waiting for the new one a lot easier, we plan to move the old one to the garage for overflow storage when the new one arrives. Fast and easy to install.
