I love this skirt. It fits me perfectly. I can even tuck a shirt into it and it still fits perfectly. It has a really nice silhouette, especially when worn with a black shirt. The length is exactly what I expected. It’s comfortable and soft, and the elastic band has the perfect amount of stretchiness. Definitely going to buy a few more colors of this skirt.

I bought black and white, and I really love them!! They are elastic and fit perfectly. The fabric of the skirt has an amazing hang, same as you see in the picture. It is not cotton so I cannot say if it will be hot to be wore in summer. It does not look a tight material though. In general, I am very happy with my purchase!!

This skirt is a different material than shown in the photos. It looks light and flowy, but it is a very thick and heavy material. It does seem like it will hold up well though and the sizing is accurate. It is comfortable but too thick to wear in the summer. This would make a very cute fall/winter skirt!

I love the idea of a skater skirt- they are so cute and they twirl like a dream, like you’re in Dirty Dancing. That said, this skirt works for SOME and not others.
Quality wise, it’s a nice skirt. It is easy on/easy off elastic, no zippers or clasps to deal with and can fit a number of shaped people. It is a thick skirt so it isn’t see through in any way, and it has a light texture throughout- the fabric isn’t smooth. The purple is a fun bright eye catching purple.
My problem with it, and the reason why it is going back is that this skirt, in MY opinion, will only work well on a small demographic of folks. This skirt is VERY short. I am VERY short (5’1″). If it’s supposed to sit at my natural waist which falls JUST above the belly button, this dress is too short to wear functionally without the aid of a shorty short or an opaque tight/legging. I have an ample backside and I am a petite sized woman (~115lbs) The generous curve of my backside did not allow the skirt to give me reasonable coverage. I am also middle aged (40’s) and being a small sized woman wearing a skirt that does not give me full coverage is just simply unacceptable. The only way I could in reality wear this skirt is if it’s part of a Halloween costume. This is my personal opinion, you do you, but the length of this skirt is also just too “precious” of a look on my small, middle aged self. This could definitely be pulled off to look young and flirty, I just feel like for me, it sends off an odd signal. If you are looking for a cute and short skater skirt that twirls for all the fun, go for it!

This was a perfect fit! I wear a size 10 and purchased the medium. It fit snug around my waist at about my belly button. The material was thick. My only concern was the white material on the backside of the fabric. I wish it had pockets! The overall quality and comfort was good. I’d purchase another one unless I find a different style with pockets.

I’m 5’3 and a size 14-16 in pants, weighing 215lbs. Usually a 2x when wearing tops. I brought a size XL because that was the biggest size they had for the red wine colored skirt. The XXL was out of stock, but I desperately was in a rush for a holiday vaca. It was a bit tight on me, wanted to wear it like a two piece with a crop top but couldn’t because it didnt look flattering around the waist with the tightness going on. Overall the skirt looks nice and flowy. Not too long, not too short. Right above the knee, but over the thighs. Just the right length. Very nice quality. I thought I could get away with downing a size since I really needed the skirt, but I fooled myself and that’s my fault. In the end, I couldn’t wear it with a crop top. Although it does have some type of stretchy-ness to the waistband, it won’t be enough stretch for you to get away with downing a size. If you’re around my weight, you’re better off with a size XXL! Still great product though! Just wish my size wasn’t out of stock. 🙁
Update: I brought another skirt and this time in XXL and I love it! Worth the money! I would say this would fit up to size 18 in pants, but wouldn’t recommend anything above an 18 unless they have an XXXL. Hope this helps my plus size ladies! 🙂

This skirt will hold a special place in my heart as my teenage daughter is just now moving away from blue jeans and t-shirts and starting to want to dress differently. This skirt was a great first buy, because it’s comfortable and versatile. She can look like the Gothic princess I know her to be.
The skirt fit her well. It’s not so thin it’s see through, but not so thick it’s uncomfortable. The waistband doesn’t dig in, but holds the skirt in place. It’s a nice black color. All and all, she loved the skirt.

Tbh, I was hesitant on buying, but the reviews convinced me.
I found that the skirt fit me nicely – though, the length is around mid thigh, which is fine, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The skirt itself is stretchy and does not have pockets, of course. The lining of the skirt is very nice and the material is very light and there’s one layer to it.
The colors actually look very good – they aren’t dull or a different shade than in the ad. The first 2 pics I added were taken with darker lighting, but I added a 3rd image with a mildly improved lighting so the colors can be seen a bit better. I wear it casually, but I saw some other pics with people in costume, so eitherway it works. Overall, I recommend!

this is the second skirt I’ve ordered from this brand, the first was the velvet mini (in size large), and comparatively this skirt (size medium, midi length) has more stretch in the waistband. the length is lovely, and worn at my waist falls a little longer than the velvet mini worn at my hips. it’s a great length, and a very comfortable fabric. it is indeed noticeably textured as other reviews noted, but I don’t see this as a flaw. it is a brighter red than I expected, but not extremely so. in terms of transparency, it seems more opaque than the first skirt I ordered, and the fabric seems thicker and more substantial.
it is worth noting with this particular skirt, given the stretch in the fabric, I could have sized down and gotten a small for a closer fit at my natural waist. however, with the medium I can easily wear it at my hips or high-waisted.
I had intended to get the black version of this midi, and the fit is nice enough that I may get it as well when it restocks. this brand does live up to its hype, imo. the skirts are basic wardrobe staples, and seem sturdy enough, but time will tell with regard to that.
update – when I saw the black midi restocked I ordered it. and having been wearing it, as well as the red midi and the black crushed velvet mini, my conclusion here is that these skirts are excellent given the price. they’re all incredibly comfortable but about these midis specifically, the length is perfect. maybe a bit short for some but I’d say that’s subjective and depends on height and personal comfort zones. the waistband yes, does move. the elastic is not stitched into the band, which is fine. it’s a very minimal adjustment to fix the elastic. overall, I love these skirts. very comfortable, opaque, versatile. at this price point I’m not expecting to spend the rest of my life with them but that’s ok.
