Initial review after just a few days of use: Really high quality range hood, though it does have a few drawbacks.
The good – this fan might actually produce 900CFM. I honestly didn’t really take that number seriously when ordering, but I can say the fan power for this unit is very good. It’s a huge improvement over the previous unit this replaced. It looks really nice. Again, I was a little skeptical this would live up to the pictures but it really has. The look is a big upgrade over the cheaper fan I replaced and it complements my GE stove very well.
The bad – First, it’s pretty loud, definitely louder than advertised. Even the lowest fan setting is fairly loud, but I take that as the tradeoff for producing the CFM I need, so I can live with that. Second, there were some fit and finish issues that could be a real problem if you’re not relatively hand. One of the screws in the unit fell out during installation. It seemed to be stripped and I had to replace it with a larger screw. The touch screen on my unit was also slightly out of place and I had to adjust it back into the correct position. I was able to deal with both of these, however. So I don’t deduct much for this.
Installation – one thing to be aware of is there is little margin for error in mounting the unit. There are only 4 possible screw holes for mounting it, so if, for any reason, one of the spots doesn’t work, you may have a problem. I ended up adding a piece of plywood under my cabinet to deal with this, as one of the screw holes was in the same spot as a hole for the power cord from my previous unit. Also, this is a relatively heavy unit. You will need help mounting it.
All that said, I’m happy with this purchase so far. Now we’ll see how it holds up over time.

This is a nice looking and a classy product that works well. I received it quickly from Amazon, but unfortunately the filters for the product were missing from my boxed item. I connected with the Vikio company and someone named Vivi answered my email within 24 hours. Her customer service was superior and within a short time I received the missing filters. It seems this company backs it products very excellently and the customer service was top-notch.
I am enjoying my new hood vent!

Bought this range hood about a month ago. As it comes in with a cord that you can just plug in to an outlet, installing it was a breeze. The suction power of this hood is three times more than the one I replaced. It is much quieter even at the highest speed. Very happy with this product. Additionally, I was so amazed by the customer service their customer representative, Vivi, provided me. As I wanted to have a spare set of filters, she assisted me with locating the serial number of the range hood. She needed the serial number to make sure she can provide the correct filters. The filters happened to be not in stock and she won’t be able to ship until about a month later. Due to this inconvenience, she offered me a set of replacement light bulbs. I was so impressed with Vivi’s responsiveness, courteousness and knowledge of this product. I have worked with so many vendors in the past and I honestly have to say that Vivi’s customer service was the best so far. Am saying this not because of the set of light bulbs she offered me, but because of her truly outstanding customer service.

It looks great and works flawlessly so far (after a month of use). It’s incredibly powerful and not very noisy. Surprisingly, much less powerful hoods produce the same level of noise.

we traded more power via two fans for noise. A good trade given our culinary uses but the noise is noticeable. Works just fine although the touch screen takes some patience.

I purchased a Vikio Range Hood last week and, when I opened the package, I could not locate one of the parts. I contacted Vikio costumer service. Vivi replied to me in less than 24 hours and showed me where the part was. She was very helpful. The Vikio Range Hood was easy to install and looks great in my new kitchen. I love that it is very sturdy and powerful.
