The LEDs are incredibly bright and the color patterns are mesmerizing. It genuinely looks like a UFO flying through the air. It is durable and well made. The grand-kids had a blast playing with it.

The family has fun with it but the more power you put behind it the fast it turns left and dives to the ground. If you throw it lightly, especially with a forehand flick, you can get a semi-decent flight out of it. The lights are decent but it does not stay lit – I assume that is to prolong battery life. It is not meant for far throwing though. Even the few flashes it gets when it hits the ground, you get a few light blinks in the dark and then it shuts off. So keep an eye on it if you do get some distance on it and don’t go looking for it right away. It’s fun and easy to use. We got the multicolored and it is fun having it randomly do different colors in the dark. Not sure how long they last for but I have read a few reviews of people saying once it goes dead, it’s dead, even when you replace the battery. I will eventually come to that bridge. Hopefully it works with a battery replacement. If that is the case the 3 stars go down to a 2 start but hey… 3 stars for now.

At first glance I thought it might be too flimsy but I think the sleek look and the weight is what allows it to fly easy. Updated review of Tosy: After the company saw my review which I wrote months after I purchased the item and even though I didn’t even contact them, they reimbursed me with no questions asked other than to apologize, hint that it may have been a defective unit, and they offering to send me another for free. I decided to take them up on it and they sent me two, which was quite surprising! I now have two new ones, one blue and one green (on top of my previously purchased blue one which I had purchased before and the kids had stopped using). Upon using the new green and blue, I quickly noticed that the green is much brighter and thus easier to see than the blue. The first day of using the two, they worked fine. That was a week ago. Yesterday, my son and I tried out both of them and the lights were not always consistent, but better than the first one I had purchased way back. My son mentioned that the sensitivity of the Tosy could be improved so that it always lights and one other thing is that it does not always fly straight. Interestingly, it flies more straight when thrown upside down. Besides that, he said he would give it a 4 or 5 star rating. So, as the toy could use a little tuning, I gave it 4, but as for the company, I GIVE IT A FIVE! Excellent customer service! Great company! Here is my previous review and star rating: 2 stars: Flies fine, but the lights stopped working well or consistently during the first or second use.

金額の割にしょぼいかなとあまり期待はしてませんでしたが、なかなか面白い。
電池は交換しましたが、5回ほど使用してますが、壊れる気配はなく、良い感じです。
