I did all by my self! I am a woman, and first time I did tangle with electric? First I switched all electric in my house, than with flashlight started taking off the old range hood, as you can see on pictures from the left. It was hard for me to do by my self, because I didn’t have help somebody to hold. Somehow I MANAGED IT! Maybe I could be electrician in the future. (just kidding) I like it a lot.
I must update my first review! Range Hood stop working after about one week? No light, no fen? I was exciting , but now this is my responsibility to write down. After hard time putting this thing , I am not going to do it again. I am sure I didn’t messed with electric, because it was working all week? I feel disappointed after hard time screwing this thing. For now I will let it be as it is.

To have a unit like this made in custom metal shop would be 5 times the cost—-but the cost of this unit is just barely tolerable for what it is—-while essentially sturdy and straight with a fan and light it could be a lot better at its price point—so, a removable and washable screen and also the inside is not very clean in the respect that there are many areas where grease and grime can build up and its difficult to clean—maybe a panel flush with the fan box would reduce all the angles waiting for grease to accumulate—-for the cost they could include that or at least design the interior to not be so susceptible—–still a sturdy unit and well assembled and meets building code requirements.

Love it in my kitchen! Was very simple to install and looks great 👍 You may need two people so one can hold it and the other install it. You also need to either wire it into your house or splice on a plug depending on your situation. Fan works great and light is bright.

Arrived in 2 days well packaged with nothing missing. Well built enough, takes 2 to install which was simple. The LED does not throw a lot of light but adequate. The punch outs for the exhaust and power supply was not easy as I needed tin snips. Excellent value as the similar product at my hardware store was almost twice the price. Fan is of average noise level.

Very easy to install. the instructions were clear and easy to follow. From taking out the original range hood to completed installation was about an hour. My wife wanted a white range hood to match other appliances. The installation was very comprehensive and I was able to do it without the help of someone else. It came with a carbon filter. Other range hood from other sellers does not come with a carbon filter and you have to buy it separately.
