My first phone I got off Amazon renewed was an s10+ it worked perfectly and only had one minor scratch on the screen.
Thinking Amazon held their excellent condition phones to a high standard I got myself an upgrade. Upon opening the box the phone was dirty and had fingerprints all over it , the screen protector was cracked and the phone had dirt between the metal frame , in the speaker and around the camera lenses. The back glass was detaching and this is claiming to be “inspected”. Maybe by someone with two glass eyes. On top of that the phone does not hold cellular service , my s10+ rarely would lose signal however, even with full 5g bars this phone drops calls , goes into emergency mode and fails to send text messages 90 % of the time. A letter from the seller was included asking me to contact them directly instead of returning through Amazon, I found this to be very unprofessional as Amazon is the platform they choose to sell from and should abide by their return policy.

Great refurbished phone. It looks new, no signs of wear and works well. Would highly recommed.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G 256GB Unlocked – Phantom Black (Renewed) YES! RENEWED! I knew I would be unhappy buying a Reconditioned Phone However I was surprised! I got a phone that had No Problem or damages until I went to use the Pen 1/3 of the screen area the pen use will not work But when I use my finger it no problem so I don’t have the use of the Pen on my samsung because it missing 1/3 touch screen is no working and because it “RECONDITION” and the Price I paid for the Phone I not happy the pen will not work on 1/3 of the screen but everything else seems ok

Edit 09/04/2025: After encountering this same issue on a brand new phone after 1 year of regular use, I did some additional research to find that this phone model commonly has a faulty solder joint to the antenna. Tldr, avoid this one and get one newer or older, just not this one
Edit 04/05/2024: Currently 0/4 now on these refurbished phones, never had these issues before with used phones. I wanted to post a review for each of the phones however it looks like two were posted from the same listing so this speaks for all. With these items being not fulfilled by Amazon, it is the fault of RE-CELL, Cell Rider, ELECTRONICDEALS, and MOBILESUPPLY. Check with the actual seller (not amazon) to see if they are trustworthy, I have found them to be not.
I received the phone and all was fine for the first day. Showed up great condition, barely could tell it was refurbished, and was pleased with the condition and delivery/unboxing experience so far. Though after that I noticed I had lost cell service, and would refuse to connect to any cell network, after I went through a few days of rigorous troubleshooting on my own and with Verizon they advised me to replace the phone, which I did.
Thankfully the return process was fine and was accepted, however the fact that the only option listed was a UPS picked, in which they would require me to wait for them to arrive at some point in the next 3 days, however they never showed up, so I had to reschedule a second pickup with amazon, and wait another 2 days until a pickup. Had there been a drop-off option like every other item I have ordered on this site, I could have had the refund started a week prior. Instead I had to go through a magnitude more hassle to send back a phone that should have never been OK’d in the first place.
I am surprised something simple like a phone being locked to a carrier would slip through your QC process, like c’mon its just a simple IMEI check, just do it, its not terribly hard. I’ve purchased many refurbished phones in my time, this is the first time I’ve received one that didn’t work as a phone. Scuffs, scratches, dings, dents, that’s fair play with used phones and I’ve become used to, but it needs to at least work like a phone.
(Spoiler alert, I’ve now had to go through 3 (YES THREE) of the S22 Ultra ””Factory Unlocked”” phones so far, with all 3 having issues, 2 of them being the IMEI lock issue on these unlocked phones.)
At this point in time, I no longer trust Amazon for my used phone needs. I’m 0/3 on phones from supposed ‘excellent’ condition, nothing has been excellent about my experience other than finally seeing my money be returned.

Two weeks ago, I decided to buy my partner a new phone – a new (or slightly used but more affordable) Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra – Phantom Black – 256gig!
I started looking at many retailers and this specific listing for less than $800 was heavily considered but eventually I opted for BestBuy’s open box condition for $1145 plus the additional cost for 2 day shipping. Despite the varying prices between the phone I purchased from BestBuy vs this specific listing, all other descriptions of the phone and condition were identical. I just trusted BestBuy more and dismissed the extra $350 as they were more reputable sources for electronics. What a mistake that was!
The 2 day shipping turned into 8, having actually started shipment on day 7. When it finally arrived, setup took 2 hours. There were some noticeable issues that I dismissed as a bug in the latest update (wireless connectivity being sporadic and frequently disconnecting, S pen not being recognized when slotted in the phone, apps crashing or becoming unresponsive) and just reached out to BestBuy for the fifth time to request a refund on the shipping cost as they did not deliver on that service. This night, I was informed that there was a price drop to $967 prior to shipment and that I would be reimbursed the difference. This conversation carried on for 30 minutes until the agent became unresponsive for the remaining 40. All other agents I talked with that night refused to uphold this reimbursement for “policy” which is understandable but as this was now an accrued 7 hours pursuing refund for shipping and that had still not been granted, I GAVE UP. I couldn’t take it anymore! As soon as that chat ended, I placed my order from here with 2 day shipping with hopes of receiving it by Friday so I could set it up and have the BestBuy phone ready for return by Saturday.
It is now Friday night. The phone delivered this morning. Setup was SO MUCH FASTER taking less than 40 minutes including a full data transfer from the previous phone and it has presented no issues whatsoever! I should have just gone with this in the very first place! Definitely will be shopping Amazon’s refurbished for my electronics – very tempted to close my BestBuy account altogether!

So far so good.
I’ve had it for a week and everything seems to be working as it should.
I don’t have much use for the stylus so my next purchase won’t have it. Hopefully this phone lasts at least 2 years. Also the protection glass that I purchased was not working properly with my finger print so I had to remove it.

bought the Galaxy S22 Ultra (256GB unlocked) as a gift for my grandmother, who had a very old and slow cell phone. The purchase was a complete success, and I give it 5 stars for several reasons:
Build Quality: When it arrived, it felt very nice to the touch and of premium quality, which makes it an impressive gift.
Unlocked Functionality: The crucial point: the phone worked correctly in the other country where my grandmother lives, just as the product description states (“unlocked”). This saved us a lot of headaches.
User Experience: My grandmother has had no issues with the phone. The big change from an old phone to this fast and fluid model has been a great improvement for her.
Conclusion: A high-end phone that delivers. If you are looking for an unlocked device to use abroad or to give a family member a fluid and quality user experience, this is an excellent option.
