We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.
Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.
Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can’t show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can’t figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it’s a long up-hill battle to get the other party’s insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it’s serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately!

Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others:
They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.
Software updates. We’ve owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added.
Proof in the pudding: We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it’s great too.
Note: I wasn’t paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’m only a satisfied customer that is enjoying the premium quality and features at a great price vs the big-name competitors and their high prices.

So impressed by the price and quality of this dashcam! They just changed the app the day before I bought it and I guess there were a lot of bugs based on the reviews I read on the App Store, but they fixed them quickly and when I got my cameras today and put them in my sedan and pickup truck they worked seamlessly! Hindsight is 20/20, I wish we had these before being involved in an accident on Monday night. So excited to record every second of my commute and have proof of what happened in case of an accident!
10/10 would recommend, installation was very simple and they even sent a little tool to help push the wire into the nooks and crannies of your car. Cables were good length and the video quality is amazing!

Je recherchais une caméra pour plus de sécurité et, après en avoir comparé plusieurs, je suis tombé plusieurs fois sur ce modèle. J’ai donc décidé de l’essayer et je ne suis pas déçu.
La qualité d’image est très correcte, même en roulant. De nuit, le rendu est un peu limité, mais cela reste tout à fait satisfaisant pour une caméra dans cette gamme de prix.
Concernant le Wi-Fi, il est bien présent, mais pas exactement comme je l’imaginais. Il s’agit en réalité d’un hotspot intégré permettant d’accéder aux fichiers et aux paramètres de la caméra. Je pensais pouvoir la connecter directement au réseau Wi-Fi domestique afin d’avoir un accès permanent aux vidéos, mais ce n’est pas le cas. Cela reste cependant pratique pour consulter les fichiers lorsqu’on est en déplacement.
La caméra est livrée avec un câble très long pour la caméra arrière, ainsi qu’un câble d’alimentation convenable. Après échange avec le vendeur, j’ai reçu un kit de câbles pour le mode parking (protection 24h/24) : ceux-ci sont nettement plus robustes et offrent une meilleure protection.
Le vendeur est par ailleurs très professionnel et réactif. Je le remercie encore pour son geste commercial.
Dans le colis, on retrouve également du ruban adhésif pour faciliter la fixation des caméras avant et arrière. De mon côté, tout tient parfaitement en place.
L’installation s’est révélée assez simple. Le passage des câbles entre les plastiques a demandé un peu de patience, ce qui est sûrement lié à l’âge de ma voiture, mais rien d’insurmontable.
Enfin, les délais de livraison ont été respectés et l’utilisation de la caméra est intuitive. Mon seul reproche est qu’il n’est indiqué nulle part qu’il faut activer manuellement le mode parking dans les paramètres.
Dans l’ensemble, c’est un excellent produit avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande.

I hardly write reviews but I had to with this one! Amazing product! Arrives exactly when they said it would and it works great. In all honesty I paid for someone to install it on my car but it was such a seamless process. The video resolution is great (even with a very tinted back window) and the cameras have stayed in place these past couple months since I’ve had them (in CA heat). The app they recommend to use is very user friendly and you can playback videos easily. Given the drivers nowadays, it’s very useful to have a dash cam on your car and this is a great one. Highly recommend!

I purchased this product some time ago. Installation with easy and it worked great. I will admit, a couple minor things went wrong, but all in all the product was still working great. Shortly after the 18 month warranty period I had another issue. I came back and read other reviews talking about great customer service, so I figured I’d reach out for some assistance. The process started with troubleshooting the product, which were very clear instruction, but unfortunately did not correct the issue. When I reported this back to customer service, they gave me a couple options for replacing the unit. Now this may vary from case to case, but I was impressed by the fact that they were willing to work with me, even though the warranty period had ended. Their follow is one of the best I’ve ever seen, just can’t say enough good things about this company and their customer service!!

Bought this in May of last year (2024). While I was excited to get a newer dash cam compared to all the others with decent video quality. I was more excited about the different resolution options this camera provided. Remember the higher the resolution the bigger the file it will be but that shouldn’t matter if the camera or recordings are in a constant loop. Night driving looks good. In some cases, some shots could appear blurry but that could be because of my front window. Now while I purchase this camera in May of last year, this camera has last for over a year. Just recently, the camera stopped working and as powers on, the screen freezes. Must be because of being inside a hot vehicle during the summer months. These dash cams are so small but I think someone needs to create a dash cam to withstand the extreme heats here in Texas.
