  • One-Touch OXO Salad Spinner: Did you know that OXO invented the one-touch salad spinner? Its one-handed pump gives you maximum drying of lettuce with minimum effort
  • What Makes the OXO Salad Spinner OXO Better: This salad spinner has been designed to be the best – from the one-touch press to pump with force to the patented brake to stop the basket immediately with a simple press. And the non-skid base keeps it firmly in place
  • Store Salad Spinner Neatly After Use: When you’re done using the spinner as a fruit and vegetable cleaner, press the pump handle down, then slide the storage lock into place. This holds the pump flush with the lid for stacking and storing
  • Multi-Tasker Not Just For Lettuce: The OXO salad spinner doubles as a vegetable and fruit strainer, and as a serving bowl. Spin lettuce, herbs, beans or fruit. Or use it for meal prep as a lettuce keeper – wash your lettuce before dinner, pop it in the fridge and take it out when ready to serve
  • Lid Comes Apart for Easy Clean: The lid comes apart on this salad spinner, so moisture won’t build up. All parts are dishwasher safe – top rack is recommended

This is my second OXO salad spinner. My 1st one was over 20 years old and I liked it so much but the pump for spinning was getting worn out. This new one is slightly smaller and a bit different in design, but works just as good. I love that I can pump it a few times and the bowls spins for quite some time before I have to pump it again.

Essa é a segunda que compro. A primeira foi pra mim, gostei tanto que agora comprei a segunda pra presentear. Ela é firme, de fácil montagem e desmontagem para higienização e muito eficiente para secagem das folhas.

I really like how sturdy this Good Grips Salad Spinner is. The spinner works great. The materials are a nice quality. The only downside is that the spinner mechanism is on the top so (when you put it on) it takes up room inside the small salad spinner basket. So therefore there is less space for spinning salad in the bowl. I would have bought a larger size if I had known.

So I’ve owned this spinner for 3 years. I have a large garden and this spinners cleaned about 300 heads of lettuce, pounds of various herbs, lots of leafy greens like spinach, beet, sweet potato, and amaranth. The ad claims it will stop on a dime but it’s more like 8 dimes but still good. I’m not particularly gentle with it either. Gardeners know the challenge of processing food peak season; the faster the better. It did fail after the 2nd year. Why 5 stars then? You can take it apart. I simply twisted the top from the center plunger, realigned a spring, reset a rod, and reassembled it. Quick and easy.
The best thing about this? It seals. You can put any food in this thing and it will keep it as fresh as the day you put it in. Noticeably longer than in the fridge crisper..by weeks. It’s not the biggest sized spinner you can get, but it’s close and does a good job. The ad also mentions using it as a serving bowl and I imagine if you’re not putting so much food through it it will still look good, but after 3 years the inner basket has rubbed the bowl edge (over-filled it probably too many times) and made marks on the outer bowl. Also, while it was presentable enough for a serving bowl, it has a center spike that the inner basket sets and spins on. Anyone not familiar with it being there might snag the spike while trying to get their salad and risk dumping it or knocking it around. Should this ever fail I wouldn’t hesitate buying it again.

This a wonderful product and works as advertised by the company. The product is easy to put together and clean after use. The product makes preparing a salad so easy. I was really surprised how much water was removed from my items.

Bought this at a reduced price and boy am I pleased! It’s super – by far the best salad spinner I have ever had! Looks lovely and spins the leaves brilliantly. Spins smoothly (none of this knob-twisting business!) and the brake that stops the spinning, works a treat. Love that you can lock down the knob, as it makes it much more compact to fit in the fridge. Bit larger than I expected but in fairness, I only glanced at the measurements given in the product description, so totally my own fault! Would highly recommend!

The salad spinner works as advertised by pressing down on the top to spin it.

I have another salad spinner which works by spinning a knob, and I think that it actually works better because it can get cranked up to gets higher speeds. The OXO goes a bit slower and is less effective in achieving high speeds. The OXO also can become unstable at high speeds. Therefore it works best with lighter salads. The plastic is hard and maybe brittle. I have not had trouble with it, but have not dropped it either.

At €24 and considering that it is all made of plastic it seems a bit expensive. Still it is a decent enough product which hopefully should provide years of service.

After my old salad spinner started feeling like it would fall apart every time I pushed the handle, I upgraded to the OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner (6.22-quart), and wow—what a difference! This thing is a beast, built to last, and has made prepping fresh salads and herbs an absolute joy. If you’re tired of flimsy spinners or soggy greens, this is the one to get.
    What I Love:

Rock-Solid Build: From the sturdy basket to the crystal-clear bowl to the smooth pump button, everything feels premium and durable. Unlike my old spinner, which wobbled and creaked with every push, this one stays steady thanks to the non-slip base and spins like a dream with just a few presses. The brake button is a game-changer for stopping instantly—no more flying lettuce!
Perfect for Any Job: The large capacity easily handles enough greens for a family of four or a week’s worth of meal prep. I’ve used it for everything from delicate arugula to hearty kale to rinsing berries, and it delivers crisp, dry results every time. The basket doubles as a colander, and the bowl is great for serving or storing.
Comfortable and Easy: The soft, non-slip pump knob is so comfortable to use—one-handed operation is no joke. It feels like OXO thought of everything to make this intuitive and hassle-free.

    Minor Quibble:

Lid Cleaning Takes Care: The lid’s design traps a bit of water in one section, which is a little tricky to dry fully. I’m not sure if it could lead to bacteria over time, so I let it air dry on the counter for a day or two just to be safe. The rest of the spinner (basket, bowl, and main lid parts) is a breeze to clean and dishwasher-safe, so this is a small inconvenience.

    Final Verdict:
The OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner is a massive upgrade from my old, rickety model. Its sturdy construction, thoughtful features like the brake and non-slip base, and ability to churn out perfectly dry greens make it a kitchen MVP. If you want crisp salads and herbs with minimal effort, this spinner is a must-have. I’m thrilled with it and can’t imagine going back!
