I bought this for my husband who is not the easiest guy to find gifts for. Just opened the box and I was thrilled. The saw has a case, parts are easy to identify and most importantly, the small instruction book is written in English with color photos of how everything works and gets assembled. The instructions are simple, clear and concise. These have to be the best instructions I have seen in power tools for many years. Hats off to whomever put this package together.

This is a true chainsaw and not to be taken lightly. It cuts green wood and saplings in the 1.5-2.5 inch diameter quickly and effectively. Smaller stuff is a waste of time and the saw bucks and jumps; larger and it overheats and shuts off.. Cool before restarting. The blade will jamb if cutting in grass; clear the area before cutting. Changing the chain is harder than it is with a large saw. Back the screw off completely the first time so the cover fits in the guide holes. Battery life is longer than expected. I was able to work for 2+h thinning saplings; I ran out of energy before the saw did.

I bought this chainsaw because I don’t need to use it all the time and it’s light. It’s nice just grab and cut palm leaves with. It did come with two batteries and one would not charge. The seller responded quickly and mailed a new battery to me. I’m very happy with the saw and the seller. It’s easy to use, small enough for me to carry and for my needs it works great.

I really liked this & it worked beautifully for 6 cuts. The chain came loose so I tightened it & on the next cut, the chain came off. I put it back on but the side cover will not go back on correctly so the chain just keeps coming off. When the knob is tightened, the cover warps & nobody could get it to go on right. This is very frustrating!
UPDATE: I took this to Tru Value & the guy there said something inside was twisted & that’s why the chain kept getting loose & falling off & why the cover wouldn’t close right. He fixed it & we used it to cut many big limbs off a tree without a loose or falling off chain at all. Therefore, I give it 5 full stars. It is very powerful yet I (as a little old lady) can use it with ease & it fits my small hand so even I can use it one handed. Very pleased with this unit now.
