The Black Brown shade looks natural, not too harsh or too warm, which can be tricky to find in brow products.
It also comes with a built-in spoolie, which is surprisingly good quality and makes blending quick and easy. I use it almost daily and it still lasts a long time, even with regular use.
Whether I’m going for a light touch-up or more defined brows, this pencil always delivers. Easy to use, long-lasting, and affordable, I honestly don’t feel the need to switch to anything else.

The ultra-skinny tip gives me precise control, which makes shaping and filling in my brows super easy, especially for creating those natural, hair-like strokes. It’s also really affordable, which I appreciate since I go through them fairly quickly. I do fill in my brows every single day, so I always make sure to have a backup on hand. The only downside is that it doesn’t last forever – but honestly, for the quality and price, it’s worth it.

I bought this based on good reviews here and elsewhere. I am a makeup junkie. I buy more high-end than drugstore, but I just plain buy a lot of makeup. I have tried many, many eyebrow products. More of them have been bad than good. This pencil rates really highly with me. I was surprised, to be honest. I never have high hopes when I try a new brow product. This pencil is on the softer side. But not too soft, or soft in a bad way. It’s easy to make perfect strokes. It’s not smudgy. It’s thin, so it’s easy to get great definition. The thinness has not been a problem in regard to breaking. I haven’t had any trouble with breaking. I like it better than Anastasia or Benefit (and Benefit pencils rate pretty highly with me.) The spoolie is nice, it seems like it will last as long as the pencil, too. (Some spoolies are duds-I’m looking at you, Anastasia.) I have medium brown hair, and I bought it in the Soft Brown. It’s a pretty good color for me. I think I might try the Warm Brown. I was afraid Warm Brown might be too red; the Soft Brown is definitely neutral-it’s not ashy or anything, but I want to see what the Warm Brown might look like. As far as lasting power goes, I would rate it pretty high. Nothing lasts as long as I want, but this is better than most. I still like to finish with a long wearing brow gel to get better wear if I’m going to be at work all day. I usually have my makeup on for 12-14 hours. That’s a lot to expect from any brow makeup.

*1 year update* It hasn’t broke. Ordering again. I purchased August 2024 and almost 1 year of daily use of filling in faded areas of old (6+ years) microbladed/combo brows, I’m just now having to buy another one of these. I chose not to redo my brows or lazer, and although I hold colour long; most peoples micobladed brows they are lucky to last 1 year – I use this pencil to fill in any now slowly fading areas. My brows are 6+ years and you can still see the shape. This pencil has bought me more time to decide what I want to do next. Highly recommend and it doesn’t come off unless you rub it off. Swimming included.
