Using patented Flickering Real-Flame technology, the delicate plastic flame tongue flickers in the warm white LED light. The wax body also lights up, glowing like a flame candle. The gentle illumination is perfect for creating a serene atmosphere in your garden room, patio, or any indoor space where you want to bring the beauty of nature inside.
These pillar candles use 2 AA batteries to provide 200+ hours of illumination before needing to be replaced. The light given off is a warm white shade that is gentle on the eyes and adds to the realism, avoiding the harsh cold white light or garish yellow or orange of old-fashioned fake candles.
All Luminara seasonal candles are remote-ready but can be fully operated with the base switch on the underside. All candles have three power modes: Off, On, and Timer. Each purchase comes with a single tealight. Remote control & batteries are sold separately.

Very realistic looking; the wax and the flame. They’re not cheap, but they’re quality-made. The “flame” moves to combine with the light to create a very convincing effect. They also include an optional timer feature so the candle “goes out” after a few hours. The best part–no worries about an unattended open flame that your cat could knock over.

The candle is amazingly realistic. Ours has been given a promenade location in our home and continues to provide the relaxation and enjoyment candles have provided over the years. An the plus of it is that it can be left unattended without worry. Quite the cleaver invention and it deserves a hats off Thank You to whoever brought the technical engineering to make it possible.

I love these candles. They are perfect. I got two different sizes and they look great. The flame looks so realistic. The video doesn’t do them justice. The video makes the candles look yellow/orangy. They aren’t at all. They are a nice ivory/off white. They have a real wax feel. I would definitely buy again

Update: After seeing my review, Luminaria support reached out to me and promptly sent a replacement candle. I am bumping my rating back up again. The timer feature on these works great and they cast a realistic flickering light. I also like the glow the candle produces. Plus you have the added bonus of not having to worry about an open flame. I would have initially given these 4 stars because I like them quite a bit. However, after a few months the light has stopped working in one of them. The candle wick still bobs around but there is no light. I contacted Luminara’s customer service hoping they would make it right but have received no response. For the price of these candles I would expect them to last much longer than a few months.

Love these candles. They feel like wax and will even nearly peel like wax if you scratch your nail over it. I like that this is a warm glow as others we’ve tried have more of a LED almost white glow which I don’t think look as natural. These were the 3.5” size. They have an on, off, timer switch. We use the timer option and they come on the same time daily (whenever you switch it on the timer) so we don’t have to do anything. I wish there was varying candle shape as yes they look natural but no two candles burn the exact same way as these would appear. However these have the most real looking flame. It may not look like it when you open it and see what the flame part looks like unlit but once you turn it on and it starts moving it looks so real. My mother and husband love them. Takes 2 AA batteries. Will add more pictures unlit.
