I love the convenience of this self tanner: it’s easy to apply- I found it streaked less when applied to slightly damp skin instead of wet skin, it smells good at first but after a few hours it has a subtle “self tanner” smell. Even though no one else could smell it, it still made me self conscious so I mainly used it on days where I planned on being home all day. I liked the subtle color change because it felt more natural.

Been using this for about a year & I really like it. It doesn’t create a dramatic change in skin tone, but for someone pale – like myself – it gives me a healthy glow. If you use it multiple days in a row you can build up a tan. My favorite things about this product are: 1. The lack of streaks or dark areas. 2. It leaves my skin soft/moisturized. Oh and it doesn’t leave anything behind on towels (I worried about drying off with my white towels in the beginning, but it has never stained them).

The easiest I’ve ever used. It can streak if applied too thickly, get dressed too soon, or if you towel off after applying. Only drawback is having to stand around waiting for it to dry. But, I suspected as much. You do need to reapply often. Every shower. Doesn’t have that awful smell or orange coloration.

My first self tanner experience. I’ve only applied it twice so far but have had no streaks. The color develops over the next 4-8 hours and looks very natural. I’m latino and have olive skin that usually browns during the summer. I was chasing a hint of that summer glow at the tail end of a long winter. Consider it achieved! Friends who had not seen me for a week did not comment on the change to my complexion after 1 application, which was the desired effect because I’m very embarrassed about using self tanner. But I just feel more like myself with a sunny glow! Was worried about looking orange or having obvious streaks, I needn’t have worried. My skin feels nicely moisturized considering I usually only moisturize my face and sometimes hands. Does not dry sticky but does feel a tiny bit oily, will try applying more lightly in the future. Seems like a good quantity for the money. Strongly scented products give me headaches but this has not had that effect, just a slight nose tickle. The scent is not overly strong and is pleasant.

I’ve been using fake tan forever (since 1989) and this is hands down the most convenient non messy fake tan I have ever used. I bought Jergens Natural Glow in shower gradual tan so that I could keep my fake tan going during a holiday, I don’t lie in the sun because I don’t want skin cancer/aging/leathery skin. I didn’t want to have to take extra time to tan or risk getting the guide colour of my usual fake tan on clothes and bedding. I trialled the tan before my holiday and ditched my usual fake tan for this. It was brilliant, I showered every evening before going to dinner and applied Jergens. The colour isn’t the best I’ve used but it’s good, the smell is fine too although did seem to get a bit stronger after using every day for a fortnight. It doesn’t colour towels, bedding or clothes as far as I can see. I have found that I get the best most even results if I use a damp facecloth over my wet body to mop up excess water before application and then air dry before dressing. I’ve also used the lighter colour but find this darker shade more suited to my needs.

I used to use this product a decade ago or more, so I decided to try it again. I’m on a budget and need a white girlie tan! 😆 This in-shower lotion was under $10! I’ve always liked the tan I get from Jergen’s gradual self-tanners, both the lotion and this product. I feel like this one is a little quicker to develop compared to the regular lotion.
I attached a pic of my leg 3 days apart. I applied “medium to deep” after my bath 2 nights in a row. I noticed a subtle glow the first time, and now I think I’ve achieved the light tan I was going for! I don’t want to look too dark or fake, so now I’ll just maintain it by applying it every 2-3 days.
It doesn’t stink nearly as much as others do. It’s a little perfumey, but I like it. I haven’t gotten too many streaks or patches. No color on my clothing or sheets. When I wake up, I smell a faint fake tanner smell, but it washes away. If I can’t shower right away (like when I have to take my son to his bus stop), I just wipe off with wipes and use a smelly lotion…. It works!
My tips: Apply it to freshly wet skin, but start with a quarter-size amount. I do my upper body first, use the leftover on my hands to apply to my face, then do my lower half. I avoid going between toes and fingers. On the second night, I also avoided my knees, ankles, and elbows. If you have dry skin, apply a small amount of regular lotion to those areas first (even on damp skin). Scrub any areas that look too saturated to achieve an even tan.
Slightly orange in pics, but in person it has a healthy glow and looks richer! Makes me feel more confident in shorts and at the gym. ☀️

Product itself (Fair to Medium) works great. Super easy to use right after you turn the water off in the shower/bath. Definitely provides color and feels soft; however, BE SURE to use a towel to dry off or you WILL see streak lines from water dripping off your skin…and it’s not always easy to blend even when putting additional lotion on to try and hide the streaks.
