The Gavasto ice maker is a really lovely design. However, each cycle takes about 10 minutes & produces about enough ice for one single drink. The ice from the previous cycle has already begun melting before the second cycle is finished. Unless you plan on immediately transferring each cycle of ice to the freezer I’m not sure this is the best option. It’s also a bit noisy. Finally, I highly recommend running the clean cycle before using. It sure looked like someone had spit green mucus in our unit which was only detected when flushed out during the initial clean cycle. 🤢

This is a life saver! I have a tiny freezer and I have kids who refuse to eat anything but chicken nuggets and pizza so my freezer is always over stuffed. I always have ice now, which is great since I have started to drink a lot of water and my tap just doesn’t get cold enough.
