I was able to use the dial to control the mist output and the quality of mist being put out was sufficient. The size of the humidifier was perfect. I sat out on a table in our bedroom. I don’t remember if it had an auto shutoff. The Humidifier works well is and great for the price.

This humidifier worked fine for about 5 months and then it stopped working. The light still works and you can feel it pushes out air, but no mist is coming out (and yes there was water in it. Sad it isn’t working anymore. The only other comment is that the part that dispenses the mist is a bit hard to clean when it gets a little mildew-smelling, but otherwise worked fine until it stopped working altogether.
