Honey Nut Cheerios Heart Healthy Breakfast Cereal, Gluten Free Cereal with Whole Grain Oats, 10.8 oz

It’s Honey Nut Cheerios — a breakfast cereal that’s practically a household name. Taste is undeniably a winner — combination of sweet honey and whole grain oats (both comforting and enjoyable). Texture holds up well (“O’s” maintain satisfying crunch in milk for decent amount of time). “Heart Healthy” claim is also nice — the idea that it can “help lower cholesterol” (thanks to soluble fiber from whole grain oats). The price of around $3.68 for this 10.8 oz box (0.34/ounce) or slightly less with Subscribe & Save feels fair for a major brand with these qualities. Also nice to see it has a sustainability certification on the page. Only real negative is the sugar content. At 12 grams of sugar per 1 cup (37g) serving, it’s for sure on the higher side for a cereal, especially one marketed with health benefits. If you’re strictly managing your sugar intake or wanting a minimally processed cereal, you should look other places, but otherwise, this is a good breakfast.

I picked up a box of Honey Nut O’s (or as I like to call them, “Honey Nut O Cherries”) not expecting much—but wow, they’ve become a pantry staple. They have the perfect balance of sweet and nutty without being overpowering. The honey flavor actually tastes like honey—not just sugar—and the crunch stays even when they’ve been sitting in milk for a while.
Whether it’s breakfast, a late-night snack, or a handful straight out of the box, they always hit the spot. Plus, they’re a fun throwback to childhood but still feel grown-up enough with the slightly roasted, nutty undertone.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something quick, comforting, and just a little nostalgic. Bonus: they make a great topping for yogurt too.

I would usually get this for one of my favorite quick-breakfast items. It is tasty and claims health benefits. I enjoy a small bowl on the go.
The price is good – that said, if at a higher price, I would likely consider alternatives.

I’ve always loved Honey Nut Cheerios, and this Limited Edition Happy Heart Shapes version makes breakfast even more enjoyable! It has the same great taste we all know and love, but the fun heart shapes are a cute touch—especially for kids or anyone looking for a little extra joy in their morning routine.
Taste & Texture (10/10)
The sweet, honey-nut flavor is just as delicious as ever, with the perfect balance of light sweetness and crunch. It holds up well in milk without getting soggy too quickly, and it’s also great as a dry snack. The heart shapes are a fun addition without changing the classic taste.
Nutrition & Ingredients (9/10)
This cereal is made with whole grain oats, which is great for heart health. It’s low in saturated fat, contains essential vitamins and minerals, and has no artificial flavors or colors. While it does have some added sugar, it’s still a better choice than many other sweetened cereals.
Packaging & Portion Size (9/10)
The 10.8 oz box is a decent size, though I wish it came in a larger family-size option since we go through it so fast! The packaging is bright, fun, and clearly highlights the heart-healthy benefits.
Final Verdict
If you love Honey Nut Cheerios, this limited edition version is a must-try! The heart shapes make it extra fun, and it’s still a delicious, nutritious, and classic cereal that’s great for the whole family. I’ll definitely be stocking up while it’s available!
