5’2” and 160 lbs. and bought 4 pair of these for $6 per pair. I needed some to lounge around at home, and even after reading the negative reviews, figured it was worth giving them a try as the price was right. Because of my height, I always pre-wash and machine dry washable pants at least 3 times before shortening them. Also, I am losing weight so don’t want to spend a lot of money on clothes right now and look for things I can wear while my weight goes up and down.

First of all, after washing and drying each pair 3 times, they each shrunk about 3 inches. That is actually pretty normal for sweats. They were about 4 1/2 inches too long, so that is all right for me. Also, they were washed in warm water with no liquid fabric softener, and dried on a normal cotton cycle using dryer sheets. The fabric and colors came out great with little piling.

As for the fit, they actually fit just like the ones in the add. They are quite slim at the hips and wide in the legs. They also are short geared (length from the waist to the crotch area), so could be uncomfortable for someone medium height or taller. The waist elastic is fairly loose yet the hips fit snug. I have a more hour-glass shape so may fit better on someone with smaller hips or flatter butt. The worst part is how wide the legs are, with no tapering at all. It can be very unflattering. I am a seamstress, so can easily shorten the pants. As for the wide legs, there is no side Sean that could easily be taken in. The cheap price makes it worthwhile for me to spend the time changing them. I will probably unstitch the sides of the waistband, make side seams that taper a little, also taper the inner leg seams, tighten the waistband elastic, and should end up with nice looking, warm, and comfortable sweats that should last me through the rest of my weight loss process without spending a lot of money.

On the positive side, if you are a slimmer built person who like the wider legs style or would just add elastic to the bottom of the legs, and can get these sweats at a great price, I do recommend them. The colors are great and the fabric is soft and comfy, warm but not too warm.

Review update – I have finally worn a pair of these sweatpants. I’m 5’ 2” tall, 160 lbs., and hourglass shape. These sweatpants fit a little snug when first on, but after awhile fit just right around the waist and hips for me (a petite in pants). The rise (length from the natural waistline to the crotch area) is perfect, almost a little short. Also, after being washed and dried 3 times, the length is still 2 1/2” too long. That means these pants should fit a short person fine after hemming them, and an average person perfect in length and if they like a lower waistline.

I’m 5’5,” and about 145lbs. Rather large waistband and a little shorter than I like. But I am keeping them because they feel like they will be warm for around the house in the fall and winter and the price is great.

I’m 1.65 meters tall, weigh 180 pounds, and usually wear XL clothes, but a size L fits perfectly for these pants. The pants are very soft, stylish, and super affordable, so I have to give them a five-star review. Even if I only wear them for one season and then toss them, they’re totally worth it!

I am 5’3 and I got the petite the length is perfect! Material is soft and comfortable. The only thing I would change is they don’t have pockets.

These pants are comfy and good quality. They are soft and fit true to size around the waist. The pants leg are a bit wider at the bottom than is shown in the photo. And they drag a bit. I am 5’5” . I ordered a large.

Below is my historical review. I thought this were great pants, great enough I came back to buy more in late 2022 and early 2023, but I can’t actually get petite size in Atlanta, GA. I bought 3 pair of these pants, on 3 occasions, starting in fall 2022, then twice in january 2023. the first 2 times I thought it was bad luck, but all three times I got regular pants instead of petite. I contacted customer service multiple times and they were so unhelpful. No one is able to or cares enough to actually resolve the problem in the warehouse. So if you are Atlanta, don’t be surprised if your pants show up and AREN’T petite.

Considering I paid $7 I have no complaints! But the fit isn’t perfect so I’ll share for others. I am 5’1-1/2″ and weigh about 160 lbs right now. I bought a Large Petite and it’s the correct size. with my shoes on, I can get away without hemming although these are longer than the petite of the same pants I bought several years ago, even though my prior purchase was an XL petite. Around the waist it is very comfortable although it’s not snug and so it wants to drop off a little bit , which is of course partly due to my round belly. I expect to lose weight and then I think these will just sag because there’s no way to tighten the waist, but I think it will be very easy for me to mend the waist by making a tiny slit, pulling in the elastic, and then sewing it back up. they are very comfy and a nice weight for this time of year when it’s sometimes 40 in the a.m. but 65 in the afternoon. not sure they will work when it gets up to 70. Yes, the legs are wide at the bottom, but I like that. the thighs are not tight either, and I really like that. I’m not a fan of the current “skinny pant” trend.

I was a bit hesitant to buy these because the reviews were all over the place. I am 5’5”, 170 pounds. I carry my weight in my stomach. I don’t like a tight waist band. I normally order a 2XL but due to everyone saying they run big, I went with an XL petite. I also wanted a lightweight sweat pant to wear in the fall. These are perfect. I got the light gray. I ordered two pair because the price was great. Length is perfect. The waist isn’t tight but enough the I don’t have to keep pulling them up. Fabric is soft and warm, but not heavy at all. Like a lightweight sweatshirt. Both pair are exactly the same length and width. I didn’t notice any smell whatsoever. I plan to wash them separately on a gentle cycle and tumble dry. I they pill, I don’t care. They are for comfort and casual wear. I think I will order another pair in a navy if they have them. Hope this review was helpful to you.

Good quality but too short and didn’t have a drawstring to tighten them
