These pens are amazing. The colors are bright and filled with glitter. They write smoothly too! I wish the part where you hold the pen was a little more comfortable but these pens are beautiful and worth every penny!! Buy them you won’t regret it!

Major complaints: 1) pens flow heavily & some flow regular, but some even flow heavily now and regular later. It’s frustrating and unsightly. 2) Sometimes the pens skip. 3) You can HEAR the pens’ ball squeaking and groaning as you write. It’s weird. I kinda like it, but still. 4) Bleeds thru!
Compliments: 1) most colors, not all, are nice and glittery. 2) Also, colors are pretty opaque.

I ordered a set of the Grabie 12 Glitter Gel Ink Pens for my granddaughter and one for myself. I made a quick little color chart for myself in natural daylight on a rainy day and wasn’t really impressed with the colors. I then turned on the overhead light and was so pleased to see that the colors are really VERY pretty and vivid, with lots of sparkle! (I don’t feel that my pictures do them justice.) As soon as I turned on the light, I thought, “these are too cute!” I did notice that the dark pink also shows blue or purple in it.
The pens are slim and the caps can be a little hard to get on, so be sure you hear and feel the little click to know that the caps are completely back on. The pen felt comfortable in my hand, the metallic ink flows smoothly, and I enjoyed the feel of it on my paper. I waited a few minutes, then ran my finger over the paper and the ink was dry and didn’t smear, but there were some tiny flecks of glitter on my fingertip. I did go back and write a sentence to see if the ink smeared under my left hand as I wrote, but it didn’t – hooray! That doesn’t always happen for us Lefties! Idk how long the ink will last as these pens seem smaller in diameter than other ink and gel pens I’ve used before, and they are maybe the size of a no. 2 pencil or Bic pen. For size reference, I placed a Uniball Signo gel pen next to the Grabie pen, and my paper is 3.5×5″. I do wish they had a smaller point but I still really like them. I’m sure that my granddaughter will be as delighted with these pens as I am! Hopefully we’ll get lots of use out of them before the ink runs out.
*Editing my review to add that I drew a picture on paper with a black gel pen, then a few minutes later went over it with the Grabie gel pens, and both the Grabie ink and the black ink both smeared, with the Grabie glitter gel ink transferreing to my hand and to the table cover. So the ink DOES smear if you use it OVER the top of another gel ink.
The ink did come off of the plastic table cover when I wiped it with a damp paper towel; soap and water removed SOME of the ink from my hand but not all of it.
Also, do NOT stick the cap on the end of the pen as the ink barrel got stuck in it when I went to pull it off and recap my pen. The ink barrel then fell out. I was able to gently pull the end piece out of the cap with a pair of pliers (couldn’t pull it out with my fingers) and reassemble the pen where I could use it again.

I treated myself to these as a personal gift because they were on a limited time deal. I am so glad I did, because they are phenomenal. Unlike other glitter gel pens, these have various colors of glitter in them that match or complement the color of the ink – they are not all just silver. The colors are vibrant and stunning, as my photos show. And the amount of ink in the pens is, dare I say, excessive lol. These will last a good long while.

the BEST glitter gels pens i’ve ever used, so shiny and great color!! the only complaint i have is that there are not more colors i would really like brown and black! and pastel
Value for money:
so great cost as much as the huge packs but are made so much better!
Pen functionality:
literally smooth as butter! doesn’t leave any weird overlay when u go over!! and layers well
Color variety:
very pretty colors but i wish there was a black and brown/tan

High quality gel pens with great flow and smooth tips. Makes writing or coloring easy. They work when writing at a steep angle, too, which not all gel pens do. I’m really happy with this worthwhile purchase! I’ll update my review if they end up drying out too quickly, but I doubt they will because they are super high quality, as advertised! I thought the price was a little steep until I actually used the pens, and now I think it’s a fair price. 10/10, would (and probably will) purchase more colors and products from this company, Grabie.

These are really pretty and the colors are vibrant. Sadly, they do not write as smoothly as I wish and they do smudge because they take a bit to dry. I also have noticed some small leakage from time to time on my hands, so they can be a bit of a mess. For the price I paid I can’t expect too much better. Aside from them being a little messy at times, they are indeed pretty and the colors are true. I recommend them for arts/crafts just for fun and creativity if what you are using them for does not have to be perfect.
