Any pictures with this item on clothing showing it as a dark red are a LIE/FAKE. Don’t fall for it. I should have known since it comes in a spray bottle, the consistency has to be thin to spray. We tried using this on my daughters lab coat for an evil doctor costume and the color faded right after application to a dull very light reddish color. It almost looks like what blood looks like after you try washing it out of clothes lol. We had to use acrylic paint to try to make it work. Bummer
