I bought a ge opal through an auction website in my area, it worked great but was missing the tube drain hose stopper cap and a drip tray. For the price I couldnโt pass up the deal given how expensive they are new for such small silly things. I hoped Amazon would have those replacement parts needed and they actually donโt have this part for the opal anywhere I could find. I hoped โmaybe these are universalโ and bought this thinking I had nothing to lose if my guess was wrong. Luckily it works perfectly. So if you have a gevi, or an opal, and ever need this part, buy this and youโre covered!

It came professionally and purposefully packaged. Right out of the box we read the simply simple instructions, paying attention to the ” dos and don’ts”. Filled it with water, pushed 2 buttons and eight minutes later…Walla !!! ICE BABY !!!!!. The machine ran non stop the next hour and filled the bucket. We have used it three times when entertaining and it is so easy to have readily available ice now. Besides that, the sheer joy my wife gets hearing the ice drop is refreshingly good. Glad I chose this model. Actually I bought two.

Our freezer doesnโt have an ice maker and I hate trays. We also have limited counter space. This machine takes up less space than my Keurig. These are bullet ice cubes in a large (which isnโt very big, maybe the tip of your finger) and small (not tiny pellet ice like Sonic). However, we use filtered water to make the ice and it comes out pretty soft. When itโs in water for a few seconds, the ice is soft enough to crush on the roof of my mouth with my tongue. I like chewing ice and this method protects my teeth. Iโd definitely buy this, again, so long as it holds up. Iโve had it 30+ days and itโs only off mostly at nighttime, so we donโt hear it run. Itโs not very noisy. Ice takes about 7 mins to make. Turn it on and give it about 30 mins and youโll have enough ice to fill two big tumblers. Recommend this over Frigidaireโs ice maker which quit after 6 weeks.

I’d hate to wax poetic but I like it. It works. I’ve had this ice machine for over a month and I’ve used it just about every day. I’ll do a pro and con list. Pros 1. Easy to set up plug it in let it run for like 2 hours run a water cycle 2. easy to use its got 2 modes of ice when it’s off you can change the size of the ice bullets 3. fairly easy to clean its a button and takes maybe 10 mins to run a cycle I normally run 2 4. makes a nice amount of ice for a single person. I love ice and put it an almost every drink I live alone and I don’t have any complaints about the amount that’s made 5. ice making is steady. Cons 1. the ice is not held cold like ice in a refrigerator freezer (the chamber is not a cooler) so it pretty much melts the instant its dropped or when it’s put in a drink. 2. it can be kind of loud the wiring noise can have me questioning the motor 3. I kind of wish it came apart more for through cleaning 4. It takes 10 minutes to make ice so I have to wait 20 mins to have partially melted ice So my review, I work its expected with what I spent I would definitely prefer a fridge with ice maker but my small apartment didn’t come with one.

I havent had this even a year, first it stopped making ice. I got that sorted by cleaning it 5 times in a row, BTW I already cleaned it every month. Then a month later it started leaking from the reservoir. Didn’t catch it till there was a puddle and apparently leaked behind the counter.
I had to replace my cabinet and floor, and I verified it was the reservoir leaking by plugging it in and watching it fill up abd the pump not pumping it into where the ice is actually made.
Tried to contact them and they kept wanting a video of it leaking, yeah I wasnt turning it on again. Trash guy took it today. Do NOT GET.

I bought this because after 1 use the plug on the back of our new ice maker disappeared (or my husband threw it away like everything he finds and does not know what it goes to, but swears he did not!). It fits..its a little tight but it needs to be so it took a minute to get it to fit..also the back does not hook on both hooks as they are too far apart….and you have to bend the arm to get one to stick but anything is better then the tape we had to use to get teh hoses up on the back and to block the water from running out-so far this is a great plug!
