The product worked and repaired my dish washer; but had some assembly problems. There was an alignment hole in this circuit board that did not align with a plastic pin on my dish washer; so I think the manufacturer should look into this and fix it. The tolerances are very tight with this product. I’m retired; but was an engineering designer of air conditioners for several years; so I think my suggestion is valid. The price was reasonable and it did fix my appliance; so I’m moderately happy.

A few weeks ago our 6 year old GE Stainless Steel Dishwasher ( GDT655SSJSS ) started making intermittent chimes and would turn off the LED light after finishing (it used to stay green until we opened the door). Then this week out of the blue it just wouldn’t start, make any noise or react to any button presses. After some Googling I deduced could be this faulty UI board.
We ordered this exact part, followed a comprehensive step-by-step video we found on YouTube and about 40 minutes later our dishwasher was operational again!
The repair is a little advanced if it’s your first ever DIY, but definitely doable if you take your time and follow the instructions!
Pro-tip: Make sure you program this replacement part’s “personality” by adjusting the pin positions on the back of the board. There are instructions included and guides online.

Clear instructions for setting the “personality” (don’t forget to do this step. The washer had failed after a power surge. I thought it was the fuse on the main board but it wasn’t. This did the trick. So far so good. Mine is a GE Profile with top control buttons. Very happy that this dishwasher isn’t junk! There are too many appliances that need simple repairs and they simply get thrown out. RIGHT TO REPAIR for the win! Thanks for the fair price.
