These are our go to sterno cans for tailgating. We love the screw tops to save and reuse. Easy to transport and they last for over 5 hours each. We’ve been buying these for years. They work well with the cheap reusable chafing dishes stands and our regular chafing dishes. It comes with a tool to help open them if they are too tight to turn.

Good deal for canned heat. These burn HOT and for a long time. One thing nobody mentions is that the fuel, Diethylene Glycol , is extremely toxic if ingested. if you get it on your fingers, just wash it off no big deal but if your pets or your kids manage to get even a small amount in their mouth, you will have a very bad day. DO NOT get this stuff in your mouth or eyes and FFS keep it out of kids and pets reach. For use as intended its fine, its sealed, its safe to use. IF IT LEAKS CLEAN IT UP W SOAP AND WATER AND THEN DO IT AGAIN… BAG THE LEAKING CAN AND GET RID OF IT.
Like anything else… use your head. Its like a car battery… use it for what it is and its safe, and no problem. OPEN a car battery and spill the contents…. yeah same difference, you are gonna have a very bad day.
That being said… I use em for power outages, to make coffee and warm up leftovers ect ect. Very handy and long lasting canned heat.
Great deal great product, well made cans…. and resealable. The lids have a seal gasket in them. But in my opinion they should put a warning label on them. DEG is nothing to play with, and I don’t think people realize how toxic it is.

We have owned chafing dishes for 15 years and this is the best fuel we have found. They last as long as claimed, burn clean, and unused fuel can be reused. A simple tool is included in the package to aid in opening and resealing the screw cap. They light easily but burn clear and can be hard to tell if lit but a simple wave of the hand over top the wick will verify they are producing heat. The price point was very competitive as well. 2 thumbs up for this one.

This is great fuel. It lights and blows out easily. I am not sure about wind as I use an outdoor wind resistant chaffing dish stand. They heated the water in the chaffing dishes in about 15 minutes and kept my chaffing dishes hot for a full 6 hours. The little handle makes the initial opening of the cans a snap.

These are really nice and long lasting heat source. I love that they warm up the cool room too. They come with an opener to help open and are easy to slip in the sterno holders. Size is perfect and they were great for the many functions I do. These actually lasted a full 8 hours once lit. I had brought extra thinking I would need to replace them but didn’t need to at all. Very good deal!
