I’ve owned several of these hoses – loved them all. Easy to tote around and long lasting. Love the swivel ends. But they all get discolored with mold. I spray my ipe wood deck and bluestone pavers with wet and forget a couple of times a year. A few years ago I sprayed the hose on the reel with the remainder of the solution in the sprayer. Worked like a charm, Now I spray the hose regularly. It’s gets a little discolored, but not overly so.

Update – manufacturer response was quick and helpful. A replacement has been sent out already.
I purchased this hose in May 2024 and thought it was a great product until the connector that attaches to the spigot popped off and can’t be fixed. I’m trying to connect with the manufacturer for a replacement.

This hose is great and works perfectly for what I needed, basically I bought a indoor swamp cooler and failed to read that the one I bought wasn’t digital, it has knobs on it so I had no way to turn it off in the middle of the night when I was sleeping (Most I get have low water auto shut-off) so to fix this, I simply ran a hose in my room that ran through some filters, then I used this hose to connect to the cooler, so far I had no issue, the hose is very durable, stores very easy and is the perfect size, plus the color makes it stand out a bit so I like how it looks.
Overall, I will probably order another one, once this fails.

I ordered this hose hoping it would be easier to maneuver around the yard. I added this to my existing hoses on the hose reel cart and my only complaint would be, when pulling the hose out it spools off of the hose cart faster than other hoses causing it to bind up. The hose has more flex than others which is helpful not kinking but when you need more hose and pull it, just stretches.

I love Flexilla hoses. They are lightweight, and flexible – so very easy to use and easy to carry. The swivel grip makes It very easy to attach a sprinkler or spray gun to this hose, without the hose kinking. The only complaint I have, is the color. The light color, gets dirty and grungy looking. I’d rather the hose was a darker color, so you couldn’t see the dirt sticking to the hose. The material is kind of sticky, so the dirt and mud stick to it.

I received the Flexzilla Utility Hose, 5/8 in x 15 ft (15.9 mm x 4.57 m), for use around my home, and after a week of daily tasks, here’s my experience.
Design & Build Quality:
The hose is lightweight (much easier to carry than standard rubber hoses) and highly pliable, making it simple to coil and maneuver in tight spaces. The bright yellow/green color is highly visible and feels durable, even when dragged across rough concrete.
Performance:
Flexibility & Pliability: The hose seems to be flexible in a range of temperatures and is easy to work with, even when cold. Unlike stiffer hoses, I could loop it around corners and through garden beds without much effort.
Kink Resistance: While it does kink if twisted sharply, it recovers well and doesn’t flatten out permanently. I noticed far fewer kinks compared to cheaper vinyl hoses, but it isn’t 100% kink-free.
Durability: After repeated use, the outer jacket shows no signs of wear or cracking. The drinking water safe certification gave me peace of mind if filling pet bowls.
Fittings: Both end fittings are perfectly machined and connected tightly to my outdoor faucets and sprayers with zero leaks. The O-rings seated smoothly and created a watertight seal on the first try.
