I wasn’t sure about getting Crocs at first. Everyone in my family already had them, and honestly, I thought they looked a little goofy. But with a vacation coming up, I needed something more reliable than flip flops—something comfy, easy, and durable. So, I gave in and grabbed a pair.
Now? I wear them every single day. I’m officially a Croc convert. They’re ridiculously comfortable, super lightweight, and perfect for just about anything—whether I’m running errands or just kicking back around the house. Sure, my friends have given me some good-natured grief about it, but honestly, I don’t care. Comfort beats fashion points any day in my book.
Those little ventilation holes? Not just for looks—they keep my feet cool no matter what. Plus, cleaning them is a breeze—just rinse and go. I get why everyone in my family swears by them now. If you’ve been hesitant like me, just take the plunge—you might end up wearing them almost as much as I do

These Crocs are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I have slightly wide feet and a touch of arthritis in my big toe so finding comfortable footwear is a constant struggle. I could wear these shoes all day I think. Also the colour is lovely – they’re advertised as Brown (garnet), no idea why as they’re not brown at all, just a lovely deep rich red.

Just what I wanted for around the yard. Comfy, light and fit well.

Crocs vs Clogs
I love Adidas and thats pretty much all I buy, so why am I here? Well, I have adidas sandals, they are the most comfortable slides I’ve ever had, but they are not waterproof, and they stink if water gets in them, no matter how many times I wash them that smell never goes away.
So I looked on the Adidas app for slides, and I saw the “Addilette Clogs”, and I said wait, that looks really similar to Crocs, and it even has kind of the same name. So if im such an adidas fan, why didnt I buy them, I found exactly what I wanted right?…. Not exactly
I hate copy-cats, and when I tried to see if they were cheaper on Amazon, these Crocs showed up. First thing I though was they are really ugly! But!… if Adidas, such a big brand copied these crocs, then they must have something they don’t, and they absolutely do, they are more versatile, dry faster, are more smell resistant,
One thing adidas got right is the design, those look much better than these in pictures, but I’ve yet to see them on my feet.
But still, I was looking for a cheaper option, and I found them here, not only are they cheaper, they are the original, so I gave them a shot even tough they are so ugly.
When they arrived I wasn’t too exited about them, I tried them on and they were uncomfortable, almost painful. The magic came when I were them outside, It completely changed my lifestyle,
-I can wear them anytime, anywhere
I’m not afraid to get them dirty, washing dishes, mopping the floor? No problem, they are slip resistant and easy to clean!
-They boosted my self confidence! They are so ugly that now I dont think about what people think, I like them and thats all that matters!
Now these are the only shoes I wear! Adidas just released the Clogs 2.0 that are much closer in design to the Crocs, but they are more expensive and they dont go on sale as much, I might try them next, but as far as the Crocs go, they are worth it and now I always look at peoples feet to see if anyone else is wearing them!

Okay, so, let me get this review started off by saying I hate the way the original crocs look. I know, I know, so do a lot of people, but I really hate the way they look. I have always had large feet for a woman (10/10.5), so I really don’t like shoes that emphasize the fact that I am walking around with feet that could double as water skis at a moment’s notice. As many of you have observed, these shoes are not very good at minimizing the appearance of the size of feet they are on.
Okay, so now that I have my fussing out of the way, I love my crocs. To the point where if my house was on fire and I could save one pair of shoes, I would save my crocs.
I was first introduced to crocs when I was 20 after I developed an almost crippling case of plantar fasciitis due to working a retail job where I wore heels on hard tiled floor for 10+ hours, 5-6 days a week. I could barely walk without being in excruciating pain. Not fun. I went to see a podiatrist who didn’t do any of the useful things most would have done like offering the night splints or anything like that. He said that I could do a series of injections in my feet, which sounded oh-so appealing, or I could do some stretches, stay off my feet as much as possible, and try wearing crocs whenever I could. I took option b. I started wearing my crocs from the moment that I got up, until I had to go to work, where I now had a doctor’s note saying that I had to have comfortable, flat shoes. I didn’t wear the crocs to work, that would have been pushing it, but I did wear the most comfortable shoes I could without making my department manager’s eye twitch when she looked at them. Then, as soon as I got home, I would take them off, and put my crocs back on. The pain lessened almost immediately, and while it was a combination of keeping off my feet, the stretches, and the crocs, the shoes were definitely the most important factor. They helped so much that I wore them outside of the house while running errands. Within a month, the pain had gone from an all-day, all-consuming factor, to something bothered me for only one hour after waking. After two months, I didn’t even need to wear them anymore, so I stopped.
Fast-forward five and a half years and I am pregnant with my first child and the crocs came out yet again. They were my best friends during the second and third trimester and I haven’t put them up since. For some reason, probably partially due to the way I sleep, which allows my muscles in my calves and ankles to tense up really well, I have had a mild problem ever since having my daughter. It isn’t debilitating like the first time, it only hurts for about 10 minutes when I first get up in the morning and I am stretching my muscles out, but I wear my crocs at all times when I am in the house. My husband, whom I met after my first experience with crocs teased me about them quite a lot. He is European and thinks that crocs are some bizarre American fashion statement and had an excellent time laughing at them. But he also has a job where he is on his feet all day, and a month ago he started showing symptoms of plantar fasciitis. I gave him my crocs to wear around the house, remember, I have giant feet, and they went up a size due to my pregnancy to boot (11) , and he has wears a 10.5 in men’s shoes, so while mine were a little tight, they were comfortable enough. He stopped giving me any grief after he spent a few days clomping around the house in my bright purple crocs. After I peeled myself off the floor after a very satisfying guffaw I got him to admit that they were really helping and that he didn’t want to walk around without them anymore. Victory is mine! So, because I wanted me crocs back, guess what he got for Christmas? A lovely pair of plain, black crocs all his own.
Now, I’m not a doctor or nurse of any kind, but I can tell that these have really helped my husband and I ease the pain from, and in my earlier case eliminate, a painful condition. Are they pretty? No. Have they worked for us? Yes.
I have a pair of size Women’s 11 crocs right now and they are perfect for walking around the house, but they are a bit loose, I wouldn’t want to try to sprint in them. I have wide feet, and they are perfectly roomy, not tight at all.
I bought my husband a Men’s size 10, he usually wears a 10.5, and they are a little roomy for him as well, but not to the point where it is an issue. So, judging from my experience, these run a little large and wider than average.

Love these new orange Crocs! Replacing old faded aqua ones that I’ve had for many years. These ones are not only cute but are so comfortable with the inside bumps that stimulate the bottoms of your feet while I’m working outside. Glad I ordered them.

Great all around shoes. You can use it as slippers indoor, comfy, play sports in them (not too rough of course), slip resistant (great for when you go to the pool), fit nice and openly, and are very durable because I’ve played basketball in them here and there and they haven’t broken. Been 2 years since I had them.
