I have golden olive light-medium, however when I tan properly (weather is not sunny enough), I am medium/tan. I was afraid with the skin range, it seemed finding the right match impossible. Glad I went with Medium 40, it matches nicely! I am aware that this match is my winter match, it may not match me soon because I tan so quickly. I have a horrible experience with foundations, it what pulled me off out of makeup for a long time. Finding your foundation is a very personnal experience, everyone reacts differently to formulas.
The foundation is buildable, covers imperfection beautifully, giving your skin but better. It does not look like you are wearing foundation, you don’t feel it. Watery, you need to insure to blend it perfectly and to layer it uniformely to not be streaky. Blend and tap, I used my fingers as tool, do not like brush or sponge.
I have slightly oily skin. I have tested both with and without setting powder (Charlotte tilbury airbrush powder), it honestly don’t make much of a difference, except at extending the makeup duration… Still looks gorgeous through the day. I think a ”glue” primer (eg: smashbox photo primer) is what gonna make the difference with this foundation, it will give a better base to stick throughout the day.
This reminds me of Chantecaille future skin, except for it bing a more lightweight, watery (not creamy), more glowy foundation version… Obviously, with a huge price tag difference! I cannot compare to Chanel Les Beiges, never bought as it is heavily fragranced… my skin can be sensitive.
All and all, I love this foundation. Hope for shade range expansion.
P-S: It has a small dose of bakuchiol, be careful with your glycolic acids. Given it is not a very strong photosensitive as retinol, i do not know why they put an AHA ingredient in a foundation because after you have your sunscreen, how does your skin reaps the benefits of bakuchiol?

This is a pretty good product, looks very natural. I got it in the wrong shade by accident but it stills blends into my skin pretty well. It also moistures my skin decently but I’m not a big fan of how it comes out unevenly between the moisturizer and the skin tint which makes some parts lighter and some parts darker. Good as a base.

I really like how this moisturizes and provides a sheer foundation. Doesn’t streak or turn orange.

I really like this. I use 50-Medium Tan and it matches me better than anything else I’ve been using the past couple of years. It is pretty particular so you can’t just apply it however. I use a specific moisturizer to prep my skin (it can’t be too hydrating since this is so wet. I use the COSRX snail mucin moisturizer in the jar) and a specific brush (the brush from Mented Cosmetics) and this combo works for me. I apply it to the back of my hand, mix it up a bit with my fingers, apply a little bit on different areas. and blend. I add more as needed. Comes out great. If you mix it directly on your face with the brush before you blend, it can be streaky. It’s a skin tint but I’ve found it to cover pretty decently. I have dark marks from acne and they don’t disappear of course, but there is definite coverage. I’m oily and it dries down pretty good. Today, a little too good, I feel kind of dry, but I did add 2 dustings of Glossier Wowder, that may be the culprit. It’s cheaper now than when I bought it, definitely cheaper than Chanel and Inc. So I think it’s worth trying. I’m definitely going to get it again when I run out.

I love this serum foundation! Probably should have picked the light shade instead of fair but I just use some bronzer!
This is so lightweight and acts like a serum. It covers like a tinted moisturizer, which it still covers age spots and leaves my skin so soft and smooth! I’m going to order the light color for more coverage.
Worth the money!

This foundation is lightweight and goes on smooth and evenly. It isn’t at all heavy and really seems to hydrate the skin. It may not cover up all imperfections like some foundations but it is easy after applying it to go back and use another foundation or concealer to do that where you may need it.

This moisturizer/foundation is perfect for daily wear. It consists of tiny beads coloured in shades from very pale to dark to match various pigments in natural skin. The beads are suspended in a gel-like substance, but dissipate when this is applied to your skin. Gently massaging this (in small circles) mixes the two components and provides an even coverage to your skin. After is is applied, there is a slight glow or shine to your face, however, this disappears after awhile. If you prefer a matte finish to your makeup, this may not be the product for you, but I like the fact that it has a moisturizing effect on my skin for daily use. For evening — you might want to try the CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation which will provide more coverage. This product is also cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, fragrance and talc-free and is recommended by dermatologists. I love this foundation and highly recommend it.

I love this foundation! It blends easily, feels lightweight, and gives my skin a natural, smooth finish without settling into fine lines. The coverage is buildable and lasts all day. Definitely a great choice for everyday wear!

This is s very unique formula for a “foundation”. I thought I was supposed to shake the bottle so those little beads of emulsifiers would blend in with the liquid… but I didn’t need to. You want those little angels to stay just the way they are. I had my makeup put on by a professional makeup artist. She just used 1 pump for my entire face. It was so liquid? Is that a word? It just kept spreading as she was gently applying it with her hands. No brush or sponge… just her cool smooth fingers and hands. She asked if I wanted her to wear gloves and i told her absolutely not. When she finished and my skin looked amazing. I’m 67 years old. I’ve been around the makeup block a time or two. This is now, probably my new favorite foundation… that word feels too heavy for how this looks and feels. But… it is the foundation of our makeup so. Yeah! . I’ve tried… all of them. Trust this old Broad. Just because some clothes designer decides to put their name on EVERTHING!… Doesn’t make their make up any better! Maybelline & Revlon are great brands. I’ve never used CoverGirl makeup before but I love this

I am absolutely delighted with the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence. This hybrid foundation not only unifies my skin tone with a light and natural tint, but also leaves a radiant and healthy finish that lasts all day. I love how it feels: light as an essence, but with the skin-perfecting power of a foundation. Moreover, it has skincare benefits that are truly noticeable. My complexion looks smoother and brighter even without makeup after a few weeks of use. The fact that it is vegan and comes in 25 neutral shades makes it accessible for many skin tones. The shade I chose fits perfectly, as if it were made for me.

This is GORGEOUS as a primer under foundation. However, I don’t think it’s enough on its own, mainly because I’m in between shades. Fair is a little too pale on its own (but BEAUTIFUL under foundation), and Light is too dark. If CoverGirl could come up with a shade in between those two, I think it would be perfect! This essence has wonderful skin care benefits, and it has a smoothing effect on skin!
