Let me start by saying my favorite foundation is made by Younique. They discontinued it and I have been searching for 3 years for the perfect foundation to replace it. This is by far the best that I have tried. The Natural Ivory is a perfect color match for my skin tone. While this is not an areole foundation it feels like it! It is so soft while applying, blends perfectly using a kabuki brush and last all day with a light feel on the skin. I will be purchasing again! I am in my mid 40’s however I have been in menopause since I was 21 so my skin is way older than I am, I put a lot of effort into taking care of it, and I feel like this foundation does not damage that work. I haven’t had any adverse reaction to it such as breakouts etc. Way to go covergirl!! I will be adding the powder for a light dusting as I like a very matte finish.

Beautiful makeup! It’s thick smooth creamy with excellent coverage. Blendability is great. Dries fast. I am so glad i gave this a try. I noticed that the pricier brands aren’t even worth the money compared to a lot of these drug store brands. They give so much better quality it’s not even funny. The higher end brands are watery, very little coverage even when it’s supposed to be full coverage. However, different brands work best for different people. For me, these cheaper brands have what I’m looking for. I’m gonna say, start with these cheaper brands first before paying a lot of money for the higher end brands and see if you can get what you’re looking for in them first. I was never really a Covergirl fan but with this line, i am! I’m more of a Maybelline fan for drug store brands and a MAC fan for super high end brands when i want that movie quality look. This stuff is awesome for people with dry skin because it has moisturizer right in it. I live in the Nevada desert with very hard water so yeah, i need a lot of moisture now that i no longer live in the humid California Bay Area climate. Oh and one other thing, tones of the foundations tend to look darker here on screen and Amazon’s virtual try on is horrible inaccurate. Golden Tan is a very ugly color in person, it’s like a very dull dark coffee with cream color with yellow in it. Horrible shade! Luckily, i got Soft Honey with it and it’s just right.

The one thing I’ve found that’s never worth cutting corners on is foundation. As my skin matures, that fact becomes more evident. A good foundation makes almost anything else I put on my face look good as long as there’s a little skill behind its application. CoverGirl is a brand I’ve used for decades (many decades!), and the products have always been reliable and consistent.
This product provides just the right amount of coverage to look perfectly natural, and it goes on effortlessly, whether you’re using fingertips or a makeup sponge. There are so many shades to match nearly any skin tone and if you happen to have dry skin, this won’t leave your skin feeling dry and tight like so many foundations can. It also lasts all day without settling into fine lines or creases at the corners of your eyes (a must for maturing skin)

I only needed a small amount for decent coverage and I was very pleased with the results on my 54 year old skin. It didn’t settle into any lines and I didn’t feel the need for concealer. Very happy!

This is the first time I have tried this foundation as I am getting older. I am looking to continually hydrate my skin, but I do like to have good coverage as well. I love the texture of this foundation. It is very smooth and has a nice scent to it, although it is very mild. The product does offer very good coverage, but I did find that it does sink into fine lines and wrinkles a bit more than I would like. I have used other brands that don’t necessarily do that as readily and still offer great coverage. I ordered the 220 and the color match ended up working out really well.
