Perfect! The old school pencils are perfect. The lead doesn’t slip at all! Having a bunch has kept our pen/pencil drawer stocked!

These are my go-to mechanical pencils for school. They write super smoothly, the erasers work well, and the colors are fun without being over-the-top. I’ve had packs of these last me for months, and they rarely jam or break unless you’re really rough with them.

They’re not just great for writing either. These pencils also work well for simple drawings and rough sketches. The lead glides easily without smudging much, so it’s easy to keep things clean and precise.

For the price, you’re getting a lot of solid, everyday pencils that actually last. A great choice for back-to-school or just keeping your supplies stocked.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
The price was right on this set of mechanical pencils.  My kids ages 5-12 years wanted their own mechanical pencils and it worked well to allocate 2 colors to each kid.  They work well and were cheaper here than in stores.

I have been using BIC #7 Sparkle mechanical pencils since I was in second grade, and I can honestly say I will never switch to anything else! These pencils have been my go-to for as long as I can remember, and they’ve never let me down.
The first thing that drew me to these pencils was their fun and colorful sparkle design. They always stand out in my pencil case, and the sparkly finish adds a touch of personality and joy to my everyday writing. Even now, years later, I still get a little happy boost every time I pick one up!

My daughters go through these like crazy because they are not careful with their pencils. These are cheap but work very well. The lead doesn’t break easily and they are very functional. These are definitely a better buy than the $8 special mechanical pencils. My kids leave them laying around whether they are 25¢ or $8, so I’d rather they be cheaper!

I’ve always loved BIC mechanical pencils, and this pack didn’t disappoint. They write smoothly, last a long time, and the sparkly design is such a cute bonus — it adds a little personality to my pencil case. They’re perfect for school or everyday writing.

One thing to note: the plastic barrel is a bit flimsy and can snap if you’re not careful, especially if you tend to grip tightly or toss them in your bag. It hasn’t been a huge issue for me, but it’s worth mentioning.

Even with that downside, they’re still a great value for the price, and I’ll definitely be buying more.
