Reminder: In low temperatures, the base coat may become clumpy or thick, which can cause the brush to break off inside the bottle. If this happens, please contact us for satisfactory after-sales service. Tip: There’s no need to wipe off the tacky residue of the base coat, as it helps the color coat adhere longer to your nails.If you feel a burning sensation during curing, it is recommended to remove your hand from the lamp. Resume curing once the sensation returns to normal.

I am new to using gel polish and it is a lot easier than I anticipated! Beetles foundation (base) coat really grips the Beetles color gel polish to my already powder dipped nails. I have thin nails so I use clear NailBoo powder dip (1 coat) over my natural nails to strengthen them. Beetles gel polish is easy to use, holds up very well, and has so many colors to choose from. I ordered the Blooming gel polish to try and create designs as I see on YT. The products go on smoothly, the colors pop, the blooming gel works great! After drying them under my LED light the nails are super shiny (with Glossy Top Coat). I did some test nails and the matte top coat looked like it was going to be shiny when I applied it, but after 90 seconds in the LED lamp it came out totally matte. The matte gel polish top coat does not smell good, at all, but it is Very Cool how it turns out. I’ve added some pictures (please don’t judge this was my first attempt at creating patterns) below for you to see the product in use. Texture is smooth, colors are bright and vibrant and so far the product is t getting clumpy. I did watch a tutorial that said to wipe your brush after coating your nail (if you dipped them first) and that seems to help with keeping the product clean.

I have thinner nails that break on the sides into the beds. I hate having super short nails and I can’t afford to get my nails done all the time. So I’ve been looking for something easy that will keep my nails strong enough to not break if I grow a little length to them. This works perfectly, BUT. Even using the base coat first, the builder gel BURNS when it’s curing. I have to cure for 3 seconds, pull my hand out and blow cool air on it until the cure sets and it cools down. Then I can finish the cure of the builder gel. My first time redoing the set I soaked it all of and started fresh to see if I could get a better shape, and it still burned like hell. So the third set I just filed down some of the gel and prepped my nails like you would get an acrylic refill and did the 3 steps over a layer of the gel. This worked so well. There was barely any burning and I could keep my hand in the lamp for the whole cure. I got the clear and it stayed clear, no yellowing. They didn’t chip at all either. I didn’t cap them well enough the first time and the ends of the nails lifted a tiny bit, but the second and third times I had no problems with lifting so it was probably my application that did it. I use traditional nail polishes not gel, so I just buffed the shine off the top coat and painted them like normal and the polish stayed looking awesome for the whole week I wore it.
