So today is the last day before my return window closes and I am on the fence about keeping them. Straight up there are features I really like. But there are two major downsides that cause me to think twice. I have been wearing them everyday since the day I received them, for hours a day, in multiple scenarios : work, workout, yard work, housework, etc. Especially as I really wanted to give them a fair chance. Right from the get go just a few hours in they began hurting my ears. So I did what I usually do with other like-headphones: I turned them around. At first when I did this they seemed to be unidirectional but after a few times they became bidirectional and it really helps with the longevity of wearability, esp if I keep flipping all day on long days. But still nothing like my old headphones that I have had for years and paid $50 for, which have outlasted multiple other pairs. With my old ones I can go 8 hours before feeling the need to flip em around due to discomfort. But staying on the longevity side what I do love about them is the battery, which I can go three to four long days of wear without needing to recharge. Love love love that!! Esp when needing to run out of the house and didn’t have time to charge my headphones. Plus’s the ease of connecting to WiFi! Love!! Instead of having to go into systems and go thru the whole manual routine of connecting, these you just press the button and the screen pops up to connect! Plus they do let you know when you have a potential important message, whether text, email or fb and asks if you want it read. Then it seems to have smart capability to filter according to your interests. Even not to interrupt you again if you say no. One of the biggest drawbacks, though, esp when working in the heat, like yard work or cleaning out garage, is they cause my ears to sweat. And I’m typically not a sweater! Hate that! And they really sweat! They are attractive and I got the “pink,” which as some have said don’t look pink, except in certain lighting. Which honestly after using fur a month I do think of these as my “pink” headphones. If the ear cuff piece wasn’t so small they’d be perfect! Sound quality and all that is good but I’m not an expert on that, as I’m typically listening to audio books or podcasts and not necessarily music. And they did come in a really nice packaging. But so today I’m opting to wear my old headphones, which are finally, after ten years, starting to lose their charge-ability, but so that’ll be the test of whether I just need to look for another version of those or decide to keep the Beats Solo. I do like them but like a pair of shoes, you gotta have comfortably!

I’m a huge headphone collector always looking for good quality sets. A very long time ago I used to own the first beats generation whose quality was amazing… over time I started using other sets and brands like Sony, Bose, etc.. I have a lot of sets for particular purposes. Yes is right that these don’t come with noise cancelling and that music doesn’t stop when you take them off… but I was not looking for any high end/premium headphones, but instead something more simple, classic, that could deliver good sound quality. It is also true that its bass is not what it used to be, but this is to help to provide a better and more crisp sound. Apple indeed made a downgrade and I’m not a full fan of downgrading bass, but being able to use the spatial sound feature in these is great, it makes music much more enjoyable with clear vocals and you can actually distinguish instruments better than just having a full blast on the bass. Again, I wasn’t going for a noise cancelling set, and its “passive” noise cancelling is good enough (not for very loud places like airplanes though) but that’s why I have other sets in case I want noise cancelling. This stays on pretty well while working out and even though is not specified it does feel sweat resistance and they feel pretty comfortable.
Love their size btw, small, compact enough to fit in a my already bulky backpack. It came with a very nice case/pack where I can fill with a few more stuff, so that’s a big plus.
Not sure other models, but I loved my blue ones.
Now… even though they feel quite comfortable, not sure they would be in the long run… they get a little less comfortable after an hour of use or so, bringing a little pressure in your ears, particularly the right side near the charging port (something odd about it makes it uncomfortable). Cushion is not as stiff like other brands, but it’s ok… not the best, but manageable.
Overall I do give these a 5 star because of the price/quality value, their sound quality, durability, and how convenient this are.
Is probably not a must buy, but I would buy them again.
note: My wife tried them and now she wants a pair too LOL, she loved them… So will buy another set just for her.

I’ve been using the Beats Solo 4 in Cloud Pink for a few days now, mainly at the gym, and I love them. They’re super stylish and the color is really nice. The material and build quality feel very solid and well-made.
The sound is great with clear highs and strong bass, perfect for working out. They’re also very comfortable to wear, even during long sessions. They feel simple but strong, not too bulky, and they stay in place while moving.
The battery life is amazing too. I’ve only charged them once so far even with daily use. Overall, I’m really happy with them and they’ve become my go-to gym headphones.
