Love this little icemaker!! Works great and doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. Perfect when guests visit

Works perfectly! Makes ice fast, quiet, and super convenient to have on the counter. The ice is a good size, and it keeps up well for parties or daily use. Easy to use and clean — definitely worth it!

Works great! Makes ice within 10 mins or so, and doesn’t mold as long as you keep it dried after each use. I love the self-clean feature as well. The ice sizes come in small or large. Since the ice machine wasn’t designed to keep the ice frozen, it will start to melt fairly quickly, so I’d recommend selecting the larger ice size. How clear the ice is depends on your water quality. The product looks great and is compact in size so it fits in the counter next to our rice cooker! There are no complaints about the noise level, it really isn’t even a thought or issue.

We wanted a replacement for one of those large countertop GE units that is known to fail. Ours did. This one is simple, makes ice nice. If I had a negative it would be that in the summer (we live in GA) you’d better scoop the ice out as soon as it drops as the basket won’t keep the ice from melting if your indoor temps are mid 70’s up. Now that temps have moderated that isn’t so much of a problem. 5 stars based on price and value. It works!

For $55, this is a wonderful countertop ice machine. It makes hollow ice bullets, not solid ice cubes. Hollow ice bullets melt in your drink faster than solid ice cubes, so I don’t recommend this for whiskey drinkers or people who don’t want their drinks diluted too much. Additionally, the machine isn’t insulated, so if you want to use the ice later, rather than within minutes of making it, you will need to remove the ice from the machine and store it in your freezer. The ice is wet and will clump together. One reviewer left a good tip and recommended putting the ice in a sandwich bag, flat on its side, only one layer tall. This will make it easier to break it up if the bullets freeze together.
The description doesn’t claim to make solid cubes or have insulated storage so I’m not deducting any stars for that. I deducted 1 star for the drain plug on the bottom. You’re not supposed to turn the machine over on its side to remove or replace the plug because that could impact the refrigerant and the internals. So you have to remove and replace the plug by feel without looking. A hose and tap on the side would have been much more convenient. Machines with that feature cost at least $100 more.
I’ve been using distilled water instead of filtered or tap water so that I can go longer without descaling. The instructions don’t specify how much descaler or white vinegar to use. They say to use an appropriate amount. Go figure. Considering how much cheaper this machine is than the next lowest-priced model, I’m not going to complain. It makes ice as promised. That’s good enough for me.

Works quickly and relatively quietly. It does not hold much ice though. Great for making enough ice for personal use but if you want enough to fill a small cooler, this is not your unit. In about half an hour the ice tray will fill up and not produce more til the ice either melts or the tray is emptied. The ice melts very quickly. It does fine for making a couple drinks cold at a time, but although it says it’ll make 26 lbs of ice in a day, unless you babysit the ice maker, you’ll never see it. And the ice you make will melt faster than you can produce it to fill a cooler.

So far, it’s worked perfectly. Pretty fast. It can fill up it’s basket in about 45 minutes or so, haven’t perfectly timed it.
I would recommend to read the manual. If water sits in the machine for more than a day, the water will taste like plastic, so make sure to drain all remaining water, rinse it out, and refill with fresh water. As the manual states, the first batch of ice may be deformed, but after that, it makes perfect ice. I specifically chose this ice maker over other similar ones because of its completely clear lid, which it’s perfectly clear for you to easily see what the ice level is at. All the plastic is pretty durable. Noise level is perfectly fine. It’s just slightly louder than a very quiet modern refrigerator.

This ice maker was one of the cheaper ones I could find. Our ice dispenser in our refrigerator quit working. Even though it’s cheaper, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work as well as others. It works great! I like that you can change it from bigger to smaller ice because I eat ice all the time. It makes ice pretty fast too. I would buy again if this one ever stops working. I’ve already had it a few months. Well worth the buy!
