The amber beads are gorgeous, but the length is not necklace length. It does state that it is just a little over 12 inches, but I did not pay enough attention to the description of what I was buying. I’m happy with my purchase though because I can use this as an extender for other amber necklaces I own.

I have been collecting Amber for years. I still surprised how beautiful this amber necklace is. I loved that the clasps are also made of amber. That way you can add two or more chains for a longer necklace. The clasps look like elongated beads. If you love amber get two of these necklaces, I have purchase 4 and may buy more for gifts.

Finally, what I’ve been looking for! I have ordered Amber necklaces on Amazon over three times from a different provider (Baltic Proud), and they always came too long, with a broken clasp, or polished, even though I wanted an operational necklace that wasn’t a choking hazard, and that was unpolished. Finally, I received this Amber necklace, and it is PERFECT! Plus, I love that I am supporting a small business. Necklace is true to color. It fits my 4 month old. We had no issues with breaking. I like that the beads are tied for added security. The clasp is twist on/off. I wish I the clasp was break away. I bought one years ago for my other kid. I feel it helped him.

Works amazing for my teething baby! I took it off of her and it got lost and she was very fussy, put it back on and boom- happy baby!!
It’s also really cute with the little brown beads. I’ve had it on my toddler every day for nearly ten months and it has no wear or tear and is holding up very well.
It isn’t loose or anything so I’m not worried about it getting snagged in something and hurting her.
The one thing I would say is if you wear it around the child’s neck, make sure it is on top of the car seat straps when they are in the car, otherwise I noticed it started to dig in and leave little indentations where it was pressed in which I imagine probably would be uncomfortable.
