I love this chicken shredder! Honestly this has been a game changer for me and our household. I make a lot of dishes with shredded chicken and usually I end up using forks, or my hand mixer. This however is even easier! You simply place your cooked chicken in this and turn it. The handles turn making it completely comfortable and even easier to use. My kids actually volunteer to help me shred the chicken now because they think it is fun to use! The quality is really nice especially for the price point and it is a fairly large size. You can fit one chicken breast at a time in this or 2-4 chicken tenders depending on the size. You don’t want to overload it though as one thing I noticed is sometimes a hunk of chicken will get stuck and I just have to use a butter knife to get it back on the spikes and re-grind it so the chunk will shred. Other than that it’s fairly easy to dump back into the pot. Nothing really sticks to it and if you notice that your chicken is sticking you can always spray it with a non-cook spray. It’s fairly easy to clean. I just use my dish brush to clean it with some Dawn Spray and Wash. Very easily. Great weight to it and grip so it does not slide around on the counter-top, and a decent plastic material as well that has held up great with no issues. The clear part can scratch if you use a harsh sponge or scrub brush so be aware of that when washing. Other than that I have put hot chicken right out of the pan/pot and it hasn’t fazed this kitchen tool at all! So it has a good heat level tolerance and you can use it immediately without the need to let your chicken cool off! I love it! Game changer for sure!
