Got this for my mom who upgraded from an older chromebook. We left the Windows S Mode on so don’t need to worry much about malware as it literally prevents executables from being processed for the most part. Affordable, reliable and she loves the additional functionality of Windows–even if it’s the same apps. It just helps to be running Windows for particular things. I myself cannot use S mode because I am running VMware linux servers and do nerdy things like that.

Received this laptop after research of several others. Needed one for work purposes so didn’t need anything complex. Have had this for about a month now and have no complaints. Works just like I need it to. For the price, it’s well worth it. It also doesn’t feel cheaply made, feels durable. I’d buy this again based off all of this.

Been using this for a month and very happy with it’s performance and battery life. It does exactly what I need it to do. I don’t mind the S Mode (which can be easily turned off) and runs all the apps I need it to run. It’s used for basic computing such as web browsing, documents, email, watching videos, etc. and perfectly fits my needs. I think it’s an excellent value for the money. I scratch my head at some people saying this laptop doesn’t perform as well as others that have more memory, faster processor, better graphics, backlit keyboard, etc. and cost 2x-3x as much. Well, duh.
