If you want good packaging for these rings to be on display for kids to choose from, the dark box is the one to get. (The red/orange box is a 2 pack for a slightly cheaper price versus buying 1 of the darker boxes twice.) The darker colored box has much better ring slots; they are foam and easier to pull the rings out of, whereas the red/orange box has cardboard slots and is a little harder to pull the rings out from, if that matters to you. Other than that, I think they are the same except for a couple different characters.
As far as the product goes, these are a great price for a fun trick-or-treat experience. The lights have an on and off switch, which I really like. They are bright too. I didn’t check to see if all of them worked, but the ones that I did check all worked.

This item made my day! I wasn’t expecting much but cheap plastic and a few dull lights, but thought I could hand them out for Halloween. To my surprise, they are much higher quality and super bright lights! They are so cute, I’m pretty sure I’m keeping them! They do fit on my pinky finger! Thank you!
