These RGBIC LED strip lights are a great addition for creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere, especially around holidays like Valentine’s Day or New Year’s! The ability to display multiple colors on one strip at the same time really sets them apart from standard RGB lights—it’s a super cool visual upgrade that brings any space to life.
Connecting to the Govee Home App was a breeze. Setup was quick, and the app offers tons of features—from adjusting brightness and color to syncing with music and selecting from over 64 preset scenes. I also appreciate the fun DIY options and the regularly updated themes, which keep things feeling fresh and customizable.
The music sync mode is a standout feature. The lights respond well to sound and add a fun, immersive element for parties or just jamming out at home.
However, I did notice that unlike some other LED strips I’ve used, these lack a protective silicone coating over the LED components. That makes the edges feel a bit sharp and possibly more prone to damage if not handled carefully. If you’re using these in a high-traffic area or where kids might be nearby, it’s something to keep in mind. It may also collect hair and dust making it harder to clean.
Overall, these lights deliver on performance, color, and customization. Just be aware of the exposed components and handle them with a bit of care during installation.

These Govee RGBIC LED strip lights completely transformed my space! Grovee is the best when it comes to LED’s/RGB’s (I’m not paid or was given a free product for this review). This is a honest review.
Good durability, you can be a bit rough it holds up.
Colors are perfect tone and bright.
So many variety of settings and modes with the app!
Really sticky so be careful with the adhesive, you can redo placements so don’t be to concerned about messing up. I messed up and had to redo a few placement areas.
Remote control works perfectly.
I literally have no complaints, my gaming setup look great!

The Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights are a great way to add color to a room or create some ambient lighting in your space. Not only are they kind to your bank account, but they have a ton of features that you will love! This set doesn’t come with a remote but you can use the app on your phone to control the settings. We have multiple Govee devices and they are all controlled within that one app which is nice because we don’t need multiple remotes. The LED strip lights are easy to install, fit our space perfectly and have bright vibrant colors. There is a music-sync mode as well as scene modes that you can use to set the tone for your room. We enjoy changing the colors to match our favorite sports teams when we are watching the games on tv. We love these lights!!
*Just a note, make sure that the surface you are installing them on is clean and dust free so the adhesive sticks.

These lights might be a bit pricier than other LED strips, but trust me, there’s a reason for that. Govee knocks it out of the park with brightness, customization, and ease of use. The setup was fast and simple, and I was able to connect and control everything right from my phone without any hassle. The color settings are insane — you can create custom scenes, sync with music, or group them with other Govee lights for a full smart-home vibe. Definitely one of the best lighting upgrades I’ve made!
