Quality made coin. Very nice graphics. Nice details.

This is a pretty good attempt at a devotional coin, but it has a couple of errors that make it only a 4-star item. The biggest one is that Apollo’s name has alphas where there should be lambdas, making it read in Greek APOAAON. I might be able to salvage this by painting over the middle alpha lines. My second issue is that it refers to him as the Lord of the Sun and the arts, rather than the god, which is just a little strange.
In every other aspect this coin is very impressive. The paint job is spectacular, and the metal has a nice heft to it. It features Greek, Latin, and English text in very readable fonts. The stamping is also exceptionally well done, and it comes with a little protective case. The details look fantastic even through the plastic. It’s really almost perfect, aside from those textual mistakes.

This coin features flashy colored art on the front and an embossed design on the back that is well made and designed, is made from zinc alloy metal, has a satisfying amount of weight, and is a great gift for any one who loves Greek mythology, Apollo, or just likes collecting fun challenge coins like myself.
This coin comes in a small plastic protective case. The art on the front looks really, really good. The blue sky background and green plant coloring against the gold metal look fantastic. So does the splash of blue and red color behind the writing. The art itself is well designed and extremely well done while the letters and boarder adds to the overall aesthetic of the piece. All of the textures and images rise up above the coin to give it a fun physical topography to its design.
The back doesn’t have any color but instead has embossed symbols and writing for a unique look.
This coin has a diameter of about 1.5-inches with a thickness slightly less than 1/8 of an inch. This also has some weight to it which makes it very satisfying to hold and flip.
Overall, the art looks really cool, especially with the splash of colors, and the weight and size is just something that is so satisfying to hold and play around with. The design is excellent and the details look great. So if you love Greek mythology, specifically Apollo, or are like me and just love collecting fun and unique challenge coins, then this is a great item to add to your collection.
