It is amazing and enough to cover 3 doors. It is worth $100+

I live in a condo and the door had a wind whistling through it. This product stopped all the noise and the breeze. It’s perfect. Would highly recommend it.

I’ve been in need of something to help with a slight draft in my bedroom window for years. Currently, I’m not in a position to buy a new window, but I am tired of my bedroom temperature either being warmer in the summer and colder in the winter than the rest of my house. I have tried different items throughout the years, and nothing has ever worked to help stop the small draft until now! I am very happy with my alien draft seal insulation tape, I have noticed a big difference within the week with the temperature in my bedroom since I have had it on my window. It sticks very well, and I was concerned about sticky residue, but I have had no issues. The value is great for the price and I was able to place it next to the window knobs and tricky spots without any issue, so functionality is great! High quality product, and I recommend it to those that may be in a similar situation. I didn’t place it on painted wood, just on the window panes themselves.

All of these types of products are flawed. I went with this one because it had the overall best ratings, and in reviewing the 1-star ratings – it all boils down to adhesion issues, which could be related to various things.
This product’s flexibility is oddly exceptional. If your seal isn’t flexible enough, it won’t work. This is like a perfect balance, and it appears (so far) to remain flexible. We haven’t had the full ‘cold’ season yet, so I’ll update this review. I’m 24 hrs into the installation, and it normalized the temperatures in my apartment.
It doesn’t adhere so well that it would strip off paint. (one of the catch-22s).
I cleaned the surface around my metal door with alcohol (70%) as surface prep. If I owned this property, I would have primed the edge with a ‘bonding primer’, which would solve most of the adhesion issues I read about. Diana, my partner, talked me out of doing that. (laugh) The gaps in my door are ridiculous, and the managers didn’t follow through with replacing/fixing the door in the spring, even after a reminder. It’s 2023, and our world is what it is.
It mounted easily and I think it will hold just fine. I decided to use blue-painter’s tape (the Dollar Store variety), to add additional support/adhesion. I think that will work fine for the winter, and easily removable when we leave this apartment complex. It is aesthetically weird, but this is about function for us. The tape itself is clear and almost invisible, so I think it would work fine without the added reinforcement, and if the adhesion were to become a problem, the quality of the material reflects I’d be able to use another level of adhesion. I suspect this seal would provide years of service.
If I had a wood door, or other type of material, looking at using some kind of primer that is appropriate for adhesion would be a consideration. Then again, if you have an expensive door, there should be a weather striping mechanism that makes this solution not needed.
Regardless, I wish I would have thought of (or found this) years ago. I am very pleased with it, and I am certain it will serve the purpose. It has already proved itself in the first 24 hours.
I would not have anticipated the level of impact it had on normalizing the temperatures/comfort in our living space. Not having this has probably cost us hundreds of dollars of heat/cooling expenses, not to mention the discomfort of dealing with a poorly sealed door situation.
Highly recommend this brand, I would buy it again (it is on my list). The package comes with more than enough for two standard types of doors. I only have one door, so, I’ll be ready for the future!!

Very pleased with the performance and pricing of this product. I’ve tried other draft Insulation tapes, and the problem is the stickiness is too strong and it takes off paint when it comes off. I tested this on some areas before I applied it all and it doesn’t seem to remove the paint. It is also thicker offering more insulation reliability as opposed to more thin tape. Finally some good insulation tape. Years in the making.

Adhesive not sticky enough… they will come off eventually.
It is okay for the price.

Used this on my front and back doors and the drafts are gone. A great solution for a reasonable price. Easy to install, definitely would recommend.

Excellent product and easy to apply, the clear, flexible plastic gap covering piece is about 5/8”, so suitable for most gaps I would think! Comes in 3 mini bags within the box, and good for at least three doors. This coupled with strips applied on the edges of the door should make for a pretty solid, draft free combo.

bought this product to seal up around aluminum screen doors on my patio enclosure. The product comes well packaged and is easy to install. it also sticks very well to the aluminum. Unfortunately, because the silicone is so soft and pliable, that when you open the door, the part that covers the opening on the hinge side goes into the jamb and i have to manually pull it back out to so it will cover the opening again. wind will also blow the part over the door gap but, so far, it has not come off. If it was a little less pliable it would be perfect.

I don’t rave about too many products but this one deserves it , I have old doors that are very drafty, I applied this tape on a windy day and was shocked as absolutely no air came in. I would highly recommend this product and I forgot to mention how easy it was to work with. 👍🏻

Application is very easy. It’s sticky enough to be secure but also easy to take off and readjust which I appreciate it. I was particularly concerned that it would stand out a lot and look ugly on my door (it’s a solid white) but it actually doesn’t look bad. That’s a pleasant surprise. I am concerned that it’s just a bit flimsier/thinner on the end that is meant to stop air flow than it should be for my liking. It was very windy (and cold) as I was setting it up, and I definitely still felt air coming through which I’m guessing is because it was strong enough to push past, so the seal isn’t perfect. However, if it was too thick, it would be less flexible and less visually appealing so it all depends on what’s more important to you. It’s still noticeably and much better than it was before so I’m happy.
It’s good enough so far, but if anything changes or it comes undone, I’ll update my review. Otherwise assume it hasn’t!
Definitely worth the money.

Works great . They key is to use a alcohol based cleaner. 3m scrub pad to remove all particles on surface. After that easy application and all done.
