I bought this device for my husband for ventilation under his clothes – he works at a construction site, and in the heat it is just a salvation! The device is compact, light and quite powerful. Air circulates well under clothes, even in tight form. It is securely attached, does not interfere with movement, works quietly. The charge is enough for the whole working day. I clip it to my backpack strap during my walk to the train station and it gives a solid breeze, even on the lower settings. The higher speeds really push air and are perfect when I’m out in direct sun.
Battery life is impressive too. It’s also come in handy while gardening and even once during a power outage at home.

If your shirt or any material blocks the intake, airflow is significantly reduced. I’ve had the best results clipping it to the neck of my shirt, where it provides great cooling. However, due to the fan’s weight, it does stretch out the neckline of some of my t-shirts over time.
